June 26,1961
Meeting was called to order bu Uhai~mani~ ?ro-tem ~innegan.
Those present were Mayor ?to-rem Sembler, Councilman
Finnegan, Councilman DeCristofaro, Councilman Baxter and Councilman
Nash.
Mr. Milliam H~mpton, representative for W.0.Daley & Co.,
our City Auditors was present and asked to explain the City Audit.
Councilman Baxter moved that Ex-Polic$ Chief, Joseph
G. Brock Jr. be paid one weeks vacation pay. Seconded by Councilman
Nash. Carried.
Police Chief, Fred Rohme requested that Edward 0'Neal
be appointed relief Policeman. Councilman Baxter moved that he be
appointed at the regular relief mans pay at ~1.50 per hour.
SeConded by Councilman DeCristofaro. Carried.
Mayor Pro-tem Sembler recommended that each policeman
have his own ticket book.
Councilman Baxter moved that Amos Simmons be appointed
as Mayor to fill out unexpired term of former Mayor Fred Rohme.
Seconded by Councilman Nash. Carried.
City Clerk advised to haEe rubber stamp made to
advise re-inspection charge on new buildings.
Councilman Baxter made a motion that any correspondence
or any message pertaining to any part of City business which has
been delegated to a committee headed by a Councilman or the Mayor,
be immediately directed to the Councilman as soon as possible.
Seconded by Councilman Nash. Carried.
Councilman Baxter made a motion to adjourn, Seconded
by Councilman DeCristofaro. Carried.

and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation
any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this advertisement for
publication in the said newspaper.
