Councilman Baughman moved that Cle::.k bc directed to pay ~essrs Faulk & Coleman Contractors who re-surfaced certain streets in the City of Sebastian O0 per cent of the contract price as agreed in the specifications instead of the $8~0.00 to be ~.i'~aid on account as suggested at the Regular l~eeting of June Sand, 19Z1, ~his was seconded by Councilman Hardee and carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Park, Hardee, Baughman ar~l Nart in. Nay s: N one. Notion: made by Councilman Park, seconded by Councilma~ Baughman the Clerk be directed to notify ~essrs Faulk & Coleman that as soon as the lot belonging to Councilman Hardee from whom they contracted with for sand, which was Unsed on the streets of the Cit~ was leveled off as they agreed, their certified check for the sum of $000.00; which was deposited ~ith their bid; also ~lme ~arrant for the sum of $~9.88 covering the balance due tl~em for their work would be forv~arded to them. Ayes: Council. linen Hardee, Baughman, Park and Martin Nays: None. Nm. Snow of C~coa, representing the holders of the street and sidewalk bonds appeared before the Council making a demand upon the ~ayor and City Council of Sebastian that they levy and collect a tax upon all of the taxable property, both real and personal, located within the said city sufficient to produce funds to pay the past due indebtedness due the bondholders of the street and sidewalk bonds, this was read and filed. Mr. Snow advised that the fiscal agent appointed a few weeks ago to assist in the collections had resigned and sug~sted a local man for the position Mr. Snow Suggested Mayor Badger this was a~reeable with all the Council. CounciLman Park moved thal~ City Attorney be directed to prepare an Ordinance providings: for tie issuance and sale of an interest b~aring tir~e warrant for the sum of $579.68 for the purpose of refunding any indebtedness of said City; which was ~econded by Councilman BaNghman and carried by the following vote. Ayes: Councilmen Hardee, Baughman Park and Martin Nays: None. ~IOTION: made by Councilman Hardee, sec ended by Councf lman BaugtF0an that Council adjourn. Motion carried.
