Meeting was called to order by Chairman Hardee, and upon roll call the
following members was found to be present:
~ayor, Geo. T. Badger,
Councilman, ~. G. Hardee,
" O. T. ~lasgow,
" L. 0. Baughman,
" E. ,7,. Vickers,
" Roy K. Fields,
P. P. Lawson, clerk.
Minutes of Regular Meeting of Yuly, 10th, were read and a~proved.
A letter was presented to Council by Mayor Badger, in regard to
Relief idminlstration, and same was ordered to be put on file.
~ eeport from Councilman Fields that a load of rock was on hand to
be used in patching Louisiana Avenue, the Mayor assured the Council that
some men would be put to work at once patching same.
Mr. ~. B. Letchworth, who was present called the Council,s attention
to some leaks in the roof of the Cain House, Council assured Mr. Letchworth
that the roof wpuld be examined at once, and see about the cost of patching
the roof.
Yt was brought to the Council,s attention by Councilman Vickers, in
regard to pay due John T. Beugnot, for policing two dances at the Sebastian
Public Hall, at $2.00 for each dance, and a motion was made by Glasgow,
seconded by Fields. to pay the bill, and charge same to the Sebastian
Public Hall Co., those voting as follows: Ayes, Hardee, Glasgow, Baughman,
Vickers, Fields, Nays, None. Clerk was instructed to pay same at once.
~ome discussion was brought out as to the payment of occupational
licenses on certain occupations, but was deferred until another meeting
on account of attorney being absent.
~.~otion was in order to adjourn, was made by Baughman, seconded by
Fields, motion carried, ~eeting adjourned.
