MAYOR F. EUGENE CRAGG OPENED THE HEARING AT 7 P.M. TO BRING TO THE PUBLIC'S ATTENTION
THE PROPOSED PASSAGE OF TWO ORDINANCES.
MAYOR CRAGG READ THE FIRST PROPOSED.ORDINANCE IN REFERENCE TO THE RURAL SANITATION
RATE INCREASE OF $1.00 FROM $3.25 TO $4.25.
AND 20th, 1977.

THERE BEING NO COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC, THE ~DfN~VCE WILL BE PUT ON THE AGENDA FOR
THE REGULAR MEETING TO BE HELD ON MONDAY, AUGUST 8, 1977. MR. VOCELLE ASKED MR. FRYER
WHAT WERE THE REASONS FOR HIS PRICE INCREASE. MR. FRYER STATED THAT BECAUSE OF THE
DUMPING FEE BEING ASKED AT THE DUMP AND FOR OPERATIONAL COSTS. THE RATE INCREASE IS
FOR RESIDENTIAL ONLY AND THE CITY W~E T~gT~~ ISA COMMERCIAL INCREASE.
