Sebastian, was called by Mayor Mlddleton at the hour
of 1 P. M.mfor the following purposest To consider
the subject of Police. On account of the period of
sizty days being up for Police Blomquist, on the 12th
day of 4uguat it was decoded unanimously to contime
]Ar. Blocmquist's term for the period of the present
administration at the 'rate of $250.00 per month, begining
with the 15th of August. Motion for the above was made
by Councilman Ellingson and seconded by Coulcilman Dahlstrm
unanimously carrying the motion. Allmembers being present.
Motion was made by councilman ":lltngson and secondd
by coUncilman Sembler that Mr. Niddleton be reimbursed to
the exteht of $40.00 for expenses incurred in securing
information iS regard to the matter of present status of
City Limits.
The matter of location of U. S. No. 1 was discussed
and it was the unanimous agreed that every councilman and
the Mayor should act as a committee to cbnfer with proper
road official~and our Road Member of the State, Mr. /~arber
and try to bet preSsUred to discus' the matter at a future
regular meeting of the Council.

.All bills as is exhibited in the ledger for August 13,195
was ordered paid in the amount of $426.19
Motion was made by COuncilmand sharer, ~nd secohded by
Councilman Slambler that the flasher lights on our north sign
and South sign be discontinueA.President Sweatt appointed
Councilmen Ellingson and Shafer to study and report back a~
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned.
