Meeting was called to order by President Sembler.

Those present were Mayor Simmons, President Sembler, Co~mcilman
DeCristofaro, Councilman ~ass, Councilman Mash and Councilman Baxter, Attorney
Vocelle was also present.
Minutes of Regular Meetings of July 10, 1961 and July 24', 1961 were
approved as read.
Councilman Nash made a motion that bills in the ammot~t of #3937.34
be paidl Seconded by Councilman DeCristofaro. Carried.
Cemetery Resolution was read. Couz~cilman Mash made a motioh that it
be approved and made n~'~ber 190. Seconded by Com~cilman Baxter. ~lesolution
accepted and approved.
Councilman DeCristofaro moved that we resolve to make lot 17, Block
4 of Sebastian Groves Estates a public park. Seconded by Councilman Nash. A
Attorney Vocelle to draw up resolution. Motion carried.
Letter from Bob Davis read requesting no change of square footage in
zoning Ordinance. Letter held to be rea~ before the Citizens Zoning Committee
for consideration.
Letter from Homart Strickland was read, requesting change of square
footage in Zoning Ordinance. Letter held to be read before the Citizens Zoning
Committee for consideration.
Resolution cancelling paving liens, pertaining to the following
properties was read ~ by Attorney Vocelle.

Councilman DeCristofaro made a motion that Resolution be adopted.and numbered191.
Seconded by Councilman Nash. Adopted. Clerk~instructed to send Certified Copy
to Charles Smith, Atty. At Law, in Veto Beach.
Councilman De~ristofaro made a motdJon that Hr. John Witt anti Mr.
Henry Storch be appointed to serve on the Citize~ Zooming Committee. Seconded
by Councilman Vass. Carried.
Councilman ~sh made a motion that Building Inspector, Adolf Ellingsen,s
resignation be tabled until nesS'meeting, Seconded by Councilman Baxter. Carried.
Councilman Nash made a motion that City Clerk, Joe E. Warren's resignation
to be effective immediately as read, be accepted. Seconded by Councilman
Baxter. Carried.
City Attorney Vocelle suggested that Audit of City of Sebastian be
referred to the Bonding Officials. Attorney Vocelle to l~resent s~me.
Receipt from Comptroller w~s read acknowledging the 1961 Tax Roll and
1981-1962 Budget of the City of Sebastian, Florida.
Councilman Baxter ~aove~ that 1959-1960 Audit of City of Sebastian be
accepted and approved. Seconded by Councilman Vass. 0arried.
Atty. Joseph Tomberg's a~p~ication for po~iti0n of Municipal Judge
was read and tabled for further discussion.

Councilman Nash made a motion that said Ordinance be read the third
time ~yTITI,E only, and placed upon its passage. Seconded by Co~%cilman Vass.

This OR~I~2~CE was numbered Ct~PTER NO. 192 of the City of Sebastian
Florida.
Four letters read from Sebastian Highlands residents requesting street
lights. Councilman DeCristofaro made a motion that a light be installed at
the end of Columbus Otreet if it dosen's cost more than ~24,50 per year. Seconded
by Councilman Vass. Carried.
Councilman Baxter asked City Attorney Vocelle about correcting
typographical errors in tax roll. Atty. Vocelle stated eorrections should
be made by ~esolution.
Mayor Simmons made a short talk welcoming people attendi~g the Council
meeting and inviting the Citizens of Sebastian to attend all meetings for
better understanding and gover~aent of the City.
Councilman Nash moved to adjourn.
Meeting adjourned.
