SECTION I: CLARIFICATIONS 0 N/A SECTION II: QUESTIONS 1. Question: C-2, section A calls out "DISTURBED INFIELD SOIL TO BE REPLACED IN KIND (4" MINIMUM DEPTH)." Can you please provide the vendor or specific data on the soil for replacement? Answer: Replace material in kind, with that removed so the infield surface looks the same. The contractor shall submit a sample of material for city approval during construction, prior to placement. 2. Question: C-4, General states "3. Tension Wire: Metallic Coated Steel Marcelled Tension Wire: 7 gauge core (0.177 in.) (4.50 mm)...". No detail references a "Tension Wire", please clarify what this will be utilized. Answer: This is a general specification. There is no tension wire proposed 3. Question: C-4, Reinforced Concrete 3. calls out for 3000PSI Concrete. C-4, General states, "6. Concrete: concrete for post footings shall have a 28-day compressive strength of 2,500 psi. (17.2 MPa). Please clarify which mix design is required. Answer: Utilize 3000 psi. 4. Question: C-4, Execution "Install gates plumb and level and adjust for full opening without interference. Install ground -set items in concrete for anchorage, as recommended by fence manufacturer. Adjust hardware for smooth operation and lubricate where necessary.". Please clarify where, how many, and specifics for any gates that may be required. Answer: This is a general specification. Question: C-2, Detail A shows no rebar information regarding size or clearances. C-4 RC 24 states "USE THE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS INCLUDING REVISIONS AND ADDENDA IN CONJUNCTION WITH REVIEWED SHOP DRAWINGS FOR PLACEMENT OF REINFORCING.". Will additional information be provided for the rebar details? Answer: The detail on sheet C-4 provides specifications (size, spacing, etc) for the rebar. 6. Question: Bidders Qualifications - No. 4, may a bidder reference similar projects and use an individual's name in place of the organizations or submit a resume of an individual? Answer: All submittals received will be evaluated to determine if they meet the minimum qualifications listed in the bid. 7. Question: Is the contractor able to store equipment and materials onsite? Answer: The awarded contractor can store some equipment onsite as long as we have a hold harmless agreement on file, and the equipment is secured and safely stored. 8. Question: Are there any restrictions to working hours or days and what are they? Answer: There is no limit on hours; we need the work done as soon as possible. SECTION III: REVISIONS TO THE SCOPE OF WORK • Section 1.4.5 has been revised to read: 1.4.5 Contractor must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience performing fencing services of a similar size, scope, and complexity for local, state, or federal government or commercial businesses, and the Contractor must have an office within the state of Florida and maintain an office within the state of Florida which shall be kept for a minimum of one (1) year; and SECTION IV: ATTACHMENTS • N/A Sincerely, DocuSigned by: DICCCSBOC95D4F8...
