Upon roll call, the following members was found to be present;

Counc. 2. ~. Hardee,

" L. 0'. Baug~nuan; E. -7. Trickers aud Roy K..F~elds being absent.
~ttorney, gas. T. Vocelle, P.P. Lawson, clerk.
~.~inutes of '~egular ~eeting of August, 14th, were read and approved
with some corrections.
~.~ayor Badger brought to the attention of the Council and ~ttorney, the
subject of a municipal pier, and as to the best means to go about obtaining
a loan from the ~overnmont for building same.
~(r. Vocolle explained to ~.~ayor and Council that the qovernment would
loa~ only 30 per cent, and the district must furuish the remain~i, nF: ?0 per
cent with securety satisfactory to the Coverrm~,ent, before loan v~ould be
made.
k matter was brought before the Council by the }.~ayor, that some weeds
need be cut in the Clty ~ark, was discussed and no motion was made, but was
referred to Chairman of the Wlnance Committee, who decided .funds was not
available to have the work done at this time.
A matter was brought to the attention of the Council by Councilman
Baughman, In recard to freight trucks drivin~ over the City ~treets, matter
was deferred until a future meeting.
l~[otion being in order to adjourn, was made by Baughman, and seconded 'by
alasgow, meeting adjourned.
