#27 ACCEPT MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF MAY 6, 1985 SPECIAL MEETING OF JULY 22, 1985
AND CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING OF AUGUST 7, 1985.
MAYOR GALLAGHER ASKED THE COUNCIL IF THEY HAD ANY ADDITIONS, DELETIONS OR CORRECTIONS
TO THE MINUTES AS PRESENTED.
THERE BEING NO AMENDMENTS, THE MAYOR ADVISED THAT THE MINUTES STAND APPROVED.
#28 WAIVE OF FEE FOR LIONS CLUB TO USE THE YACHT CLUB FOR THEIR MEETING.
COUNCILMAN VALLONE EXPLAINED THAT THE LIONS CLUB MEETS ON THE FIRST AND FOURTH THURSDAYS
OF EACH MONTH AND THAT THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE HAD APPROVED A WAIVE OF FEE.
MAY'OR GALLAGHER STATED THAT THE CLERK WOULD CHECK THE DATES AND THIS WOULD BE AN AGENDA
ITEM AT THE MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 11, 1985.

WITH THE SEBASTIAN OFFICIALS ASSOCIATIONS LEASE FOR THE CONCESSION STANO AT THE BARBER STREET
BALLFIELD.

#32 REQUEST FROM PARENT CHILD WATCH PROGRAM, WAIVE OF FEE FOR MONTHLY MEETINGS

WINDS DURING THE WEEK END OF AUGUST 31 ST AND WALKER COULD DO THE TENTING A WEEK FROM THIS
FRIDAY,

28 ON THE AGENDA.

INC. REGARDING A RATE INCREASE.

THERE BEING NO BUSINESS FROM THE PUBLIC MAYOR GALLAGHER STATED THAT THE NEXT ORDER OF
BUSINESS WOULD BE OLD BUSINESS.

MAYOR GALLAGHER STATED THAT THE COUNCIL HAD CONSIDERED AND TALKED ABOUT
THE UTILITY OF SEBASTIAN LAKES SUPPLYING THE SCHOOL AND PORTIONS OF 512 AT LAST
MONTHS MEETING AND THE COUNCIL REQUESTED THAT INFORMATION BE SUBMITTED TO THEM FOR THEIR
CONSIDERATION.
COUNCILMAN VALLONE STATED THAT THE INFORMATION HE HAD RECEIVED ONLY INSLUDED THE COMMUNITY
OF SEBASTIAN LAKES.
MAYOR GALLAGHER ASKED IF THERE WAS A REPRESENTATIVE PRESENT
MR DARRELL MCQUEEN, ENGINEER, LLOYD AND ASSOCIATES, STATED THAT HE WAS THE PROJECT ENGINEER
FOR BOTH THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD AND THE SEBASTIAN LAKES PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT.
AFTER CONSIDERABLE DEBATE BETWEEN BETWEEN ATTORNEY PALMER, MR MCQUEEN AND MEMBERS OF THE
COUNCIL REGARDING THE CAPACITY OF THE SEBASTIAN LAKES UTILITY PLANT, USE OF C.R. 512 CORRIDOR
ROAD RIGHT OF WAYS, THE SCHOOLS DESIRE TO OPEN AND NOT MAINTAIN A PACKAGE PLANT, AND THE NEED
OF SEWAGE ON 512 FOR GROWTH TO OCCUR. THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE.
MOTION BY VICE MAYOR HARRIS, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN ROTH, TO GRANT THE REQUEST TO EXTEND
SEBASTIAN LAKE'S UTILITY FRANCHISE TO THE NEW SEBASTIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND ALONG
THE CR 512 CORRIDOR.
COUNCILMAN VALLONE STATED FOR THE RECORD THAT HE HAD A CONFLICT OF INTEREST AS HE OWNED A LOT
ALONG THE C.R. 512 CORRIDOR.
