Those present were, Mayor Simmons, President Sembler, Councilman DeCristofaro, and Councilmanq~ash. Councilman Vass a nd Councilman ]i~axter absent. Ninutes of Regular meeting of August l~th and August 28th and Special meeting of August 30, 196~ were approved as read. Resignation of Councilman Vass Was tabled for lack of full council. Letter fro~ Brevard Junior College in reference to course in ~ersonal Survival was read. Notes from lengthy conversation between Col. Jordan, Dr. Floo~ and Mr. Jenni~'~gs in reference to Hardee Lake were read explaining what was required to make it safe for swimming. Additional 6 or 8 inch well Larger Outlet Stop water from r~mning from street into Lake Male and Pemale toilets Col. Jordan stated that Mr. Moore of Hackle said that Hackle will do these things, but they ca~mot police the toilet facilities after they are built. Councilman Mash will contact Mr. Moore. Councilman Mash made a motion that Col.' A. T. Jordan be appointed to Airport Commission. Seconded by Councilman De Cri st o£aro. Carried. Councilman,. ~eCristofaro, Chairmsan of lights stated that Mrs. Mutter will have a street light. ~ayor Simmons reco~mended that policeman'§ guns be refinished.
