Hartin properties, and to obtain the City's permission to place same on right of way of Louisiana Avenue, the City to ~sive permission provided an a~re~ment be signed 0y the Florida power &, Li~ht Co., that City would not be held responsible for any injury accrueing therefrom. }lotion w.~s made by Vickers seconded by T;au~hman, motion carried. Be Yt ~esolved, that the bud~e::~....., of expenditures and disbursements of the City of Sebastian, Florida, for the fiscal year of 1933-1934 be, an.d the same is hereby fixed as follov~s: Street lighting- ~,[iscellaneous ~ttorney,s fees Streets, parks and drainage Clerk Office expense - ~etirement principal and interest outstanding indebtedness Total, 600,oo 459.28 400.OO 150.00 625.00 150.00 -2383.00 4.969 .~8 Be Zt Further Resolved, that the City Council of the City of Sebastian does determine that the amount to be raised for all municipal purposes for the fiscal year of 1933-1934 by taxation for the yea~1933, is the sum of ~ 4767.28, and that in order to provide necessary funds for this purpose the rate of taxation for the said City for the year 1953 shall be 20 mills on the dollar assessed value of the taxable property within said city; 10 mills of said 20 mills being for the purpose of providing funds for the general fund; 10 mills of said 20 mills being for the purpose of retiring principal and interest on the outstanding indebtedness of said city. Be It Further Resolved, that the City Attorney of said City be, and he is hereby instructed to tax ordinance in accordance herewith. 2aid resolution being put to a vote, by roll call, was adopted as follows: Ayes, Hardee, Baughman, Vickers. ~ays, none. That the City of Sebastian, Florida, levy a tax of 20 mills on each dollar valuation of real and personal property within the city limits of said city, subject to taxation on the first day of January, 1933, which tax shall be assessed and collected in the manner provided by law. Section 2. That the total of 20 mills, 10 mills shall be used for the pur~ pose of providing funds for the general fund; 10 mills shall be used for the, purpose of retiring principal and interest of the outstanding indebtedness of the said City. Section 3. It shall bo the duty of the City Tax Collector and City Treas- urer to divid.~ the proceeds from said taxes into separate funds as above s~t forth and to koep such account thereof from time to time as may be directed by the City Counc il. section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect iramediately and upon its passage and approval, or its becoming a law without such approval.
