Councilman B.E.Sh:~w read the report on Evaluation of City Properties as presented by Committee consisting of:Councilman D.E.Shaw,Archie Smith,~nd and Harry Bohannon. Motion to accept the report as read was made Oy Coun- Cilm~n R.G.Hardee,secon&~d by Councilman B.g. Shaw. Carried unanimously. Chas.W.Sembler appointed to fill the first "acancy occurring in the ~ouncil. Thereupon Councilman Hardee moved to ~ppoint Nr.Chas.W.Sembler to fill the unexpired term o? ~r.M.A.Tillis. ON second by Councilman Smith motion carried unanimously. A motion to retain the telephone installed by the O.P.~. mhd being cancelled October l~,was made by CouncilmanSmith~seconded by Councilm~n Hardee the ~otion cmrried. Resolution (Hendricks sale) W~ER~,titl~ to Lot 7 ,of Block 3, ef School Park Su0division,~ccording t o replat of~s~division recorded in Pla~ Book 2,page 29,records of Indian Riwer County,Florida,was conveyed 0y the City of Sebastian,Florida to Geo. F.Vickers,togcther with other property,and all ~s described in deed dated ~arch 7,1938 and recorded in ~eed Book 30 at page River County,Florida,with the provision that the said George F.Vickers should hold legal title to such property as Trustee for ~he City of Sebastian the ~ ......... actual owner thereof; REGULAR I~iE,-,.T IN G Octeber 3,1945 (Cent WHER.E~ pursuant ~o direction of the §ity of Sebastian the said George F. Vickers did enter into a contract for the sale ~' said property to C.R.Hen~ dricks under date of aPRIL15,1939;and, WttEREaS,under date of September 27,1945 the. said C.R.Hendricks did tender to the City of Uebasti~n,Florida, the sum of $426.84 as payment in full of all sums payable under said contract including interest and advances made by said City for insurance and State and County ~Taxes and did recuest a deed of con- veyance of said property to him from said George FoVickers and said City; and said City h~ving found the mmount so tendered to be correct;therefore, BE IT R.~20!?!~D by the City Council of the City of Sebastimn tha~ the ap- propriate city officials execute and deliver to the said C.R.Hendricks the Deed of the City conveying to him tho above described property and that the said George F.Vickers 0e requested to likewise execute and deliver m deed con- veyin::' s;~id property to the s:~id C.~.Hendricks; that upon delivery of s.~id deeds the City accept ~nd deposit in its ,Kener~l fund the s~id sum of ~426.84 :~nd which sum is :~ccoptcd 'by s~id City .is p~yment in full to ~t for the said property.
