Meeting was called to order by President Middleton. - Letchworth Those present at roll call were President Middleton,Councilman,Stevenson and Smith. Mayor Roberts and Councilman Se~bler absent. ~r Mitchell,City's Attorney present. The Clerk asked the Council' to pass on Tax valuations o~ 2500.00 on Mr Sweat'sProperty and 1800.00 on I.J.Anderson Yr both being passed by th e appraisel committee. On motion by Councilman Stevenson and seconded by Councilman Smith the Council adopted said resolution of said properties at 50~ of value for the 1949 tax roll.Carried. Bills rendered for payment were ordered paid on motion byOouncilman Smith and seconded by Councilman Stevenson.Carried. Chapter No.lll was presented to the Council for passage, Sa~ d Chapter is ordlnamce covering dogs and the purchase of tags for same~. The 0rd&nance was read three times and was passed by unanimous vote by roll call. Motion by Councilman Smith seconded by councilman Letchworth adopted roll calls. Roll Call President Middleton Yes. It was moved by Councilman .Stevenson and seconded by Councilman Smith that the Clerk be autherlzed to secure tags and licenses for dogs.Carried. It was moved by Councilman Stevenson and seconded by Councilman Smith to have the Clerk write to Mr Loftin of the Florida East Coast Ry,as a remihder of~':th%nEell~ae~e Crossing light~.Carried. It was moved by Councilman Stevenson and seconded by Councilman Smith draw warrent of $1930.45 for the new police oar.Carried. It was moved by Councilman Letohworth and seconded by 0ouncilman Smith to secure new seat covers for the police car. Carried. Mr Mitchell aske the Council to let him know whether or mot they wanted him to stay in New York an ex~ra day to talk to Prentergast and Fahey Co on the Bond situation. There being no more business meeting was adjourned. Clerk Pres. Council
