Resolution approving and equalizing tmx assessment roll was introduced by Mr.
Shaw, Seconded by Mr. Smith. Carried.

Be it resolved that the budget of expenditures and disbursen~nts of the City
of Sebastian, Florida for the Fiscal year of 1942-1943, be and the same is hereby

Be it further resloved that: the City Council of the City of Sebastian here-
with determines that the a~.ount to bo raised for all municipal purposes for
the fiscal year 1942-1943 by ~taxation for the y~r 1942, is the sum of $2700.00
for general fund purposes and $5460.00 for interest and sinEing fund purposew
to be used exclusively for City of Sebastta~A..Refunding Bonds, issue of 1939, d
dated July l, 1939, that ordinance be prepared providing a tax levy for such
purposes mmm~x~ in the amount of l0 mills for general fund purposes and 2~ mills
for lnter$$t and sinking purposes.
Mr. Shaw offered tax ordinance for tho year 1942 and moved that it be read
for the first time in full. Motion seconded and cartload. He moved that it be
read ~he second time by title only. Motion seconded anal carried. He moved
that it be read the third time by title only and by roll call it was adopted by
the following vote: Ayes: Middleton, Shaw and Smith. Nays: None. Mr. Shaw
intorduced a resolution to make Mr. E. W. Vickers mayor and moved its adoption.
Motion seconded and carried. Mr. Smith introduced a resolution naming R. E.
Turlington councilman and moved its adoption. Motion seconded and carried.
Motio~ to adjourn prevailed.
