Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. ~ills for October after being approved by the finance'Committee were presented for payment. ~otion by CouncLlmam Sembler and seconded by Councilman ~ohannon that said bills be paid. Lotion carried. · l'he Resolution for the ~ity's next ~lection was read,and on motion by Councilman uouncilman Sembler and seconded by uouncilman Turlington said ~esolution was accepted. Roll call for saidn~esolution was President ~lddleton --ies. Councilman ~ohannon Councilman Smith ........ ~es. Councilman '£~urlington ....... ~es. Councilman ~embler ......... ~e s. Vote being unanimous. The City Council immediately appointed One Clerk of ~lect~ons and four inspectors. They were uler~ mrs :~ucker Inspectors ~ George ~raddock,Paul Stevenson & ~rs Wm Ryall. On reec. omendation fro~ the Street and alley Committee,Councilman Scrubber was given permission to have a bulldozer level off 9th st. where tile was laid to drain off high water. On motion from uouncilman Bohannon and seconded by Councilman Smith Mr Stevenson was hired for this work and said work to supervised by Councilman Sembler. ~otion Carried. On reccomendation from the Street and Alley CommlttSe,perm~ssion was given ~r Paul Stevenson to install a culvert under South Central ave to connect up with a ditch which he will run through his place to drain into storm ditch at Highway. M~eStevenson will do all the work at no expense to the City and South Central Ave to left in as good condition after work is completed as it was before work started. This work being granted by motion by Oouncilmam Smith and seconded by Councilman Bohannon. City is to furnish cold pack for the top dressing. ~r J,'T.Thompso~ of the Sebastian inlet association spoke in behalf of the Sebastian Inlet for funds to help put the Jetties in shape. President ~lddleton called on several of the Citizens of Se0astian to give their views on the subject and every one seemed to be in favor of the City giving somthing toward the project.
