MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY MAYOR PAT FLOOD, JR., AT 7:00 P.M.
PRESENT: VICE MAYOR LEWIS GRAY, COUNCILMEN EVERETT T. GASS AND JOHN R. JOACHIM, COUNCILWOMAN
DOROTHY W. MCKINLEY, AND MAYOR PAT FLOOD, JR.
THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING WAS TO DISCUSS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND DUTIES OF THE CITY CLERK'S
OFFICE. AFTER A BRIEF DISCUSSION, THE COUNCIL AGREED THAT THIS MEETING SHOULD BE CONTINUED AT A
LATER DATE WHEN THE CITY ATTORNEY CAN BE PRESENT.
MAYOR FLOOD REQUESTED PERMISSION OF THE COUNCIL TO BRING UP SEVERAL ITEMS.
MOTION BY COUNCILWOMAN McKINLEY, SECONDED BY VICE MAYOR GRAY, TO PERMIT MAYOR FLOOD TO BRING UP
OTHER ITEMS. CARRIED.
MOTION BY VICE MAYOR GRAY, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN GASS, TO REQUEST MR. RALPH HAIMOWITZ OF INDIAN
RIVER CABLEVISION, TO TELECAST ON THE LOCAL CHANNEL THE SECOND REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING, STARTING
IN NOVEMBER, 1979. CARRIED.
MOTION BY VICE MAYOR GRAY, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN GASS, TO PERMIT THE POLICE AUXILIARY TO USE
THE COMMUNITY CENTER, FREE OF CHARGE, FOR A DANCE ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, AND TO ALLOW THE
SERVING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. CARRIED.
MOTION BY COUNCILMAN GASS, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAU JOA~HI/4, TO ALLOW MR. H. F. LOSEKE TO PARK A
MEETING ADJOURNED AT 7:45 P.M.
