~eeting c::~lled to order by President Taylor.
Those present were ~yor Shaffer,Rresident Taylor and Councilman El±ingsen,Ches~
and 5nowden. Councilman Sembler absent.
Minutes of meeting of 0cto0er 11,1954 were approved as read.
Three bills amounting to ~65.50 approved by the finance committee were authorized
to be paid on motion 0y Councilman ~llingsen and seconded by Councilnmn Chesser.
A letter 2~nnW.P.Sloan to the oity was read by the Olerk stateing in order for t he
City to cut across the lower point of his land with a drain ditch Mr Sloan has asked
the oity $o agree to put in culvert if ever needed for either road or building.After
discussing the matter it was agreed~to wait and see ~r Sloan in order to get a more
definate answer from him. Councilman Snowden suggested t~e ~lerk acknowledge his letter
an~ that when he is up here the Oouncil and lv~ Sloan could go over the situation together
and probably come to some decision.
~rs Ohesser suggested to the 0ouncil to have the brush that has been accumulating
at the Oity dump burned before too much of same accumulates as mo~e is brought ~n each
week. mrs Chesser also suggested to have the sidewalk on the south side of 'ashi.~'ton
Place cleaned of weeds and grass.
Council~n Taylor told the Council that there were a few graves in t, he Cemetery
that needed filling in order to improve the looks of' the Cemetery as the~f~Old graves
and have never been kept up.
~.,.,'.rs Chesser told the cou:~cil that the P.T.~i.wer~ holding party ~;aturday night~ in
City Park if there was no objections from the City and that i.R.Mid~leton was goin.~ to
wire sonic additional lights for the occacion.There were no objections.
Fresident Taylor and the Council discussed the cutting of the trees infront of l~rs
Stevenson's property and was agreed to wait until the tree surgeons could be contacted
for costs.
The chair raised the question as to what should Oe done as to ~ Turlinton's lots
1-2-3 block 2 of hardee's Subdivision B.since the lots have not been clea:ed of the old
cars. Six months had been allowed ~'~ Turlington to clear lots of ~he cars and the time
allowed would...tei-mina~eOctober 26,1954.Bo action was taken 0y the Oouncil other than a
general discussion.The enforcement of the ordinance would be up the ~yor.
There being no more business to come before the ~ouncil,meeting was duly adjourned.

Bills amounting to ¥ 179.10 ap prove~ by the finance committee were authorized to
be paid on motion by Councilman Ellingwen and seconded by Councilman ~;nowden.
~uilding permit presented by i¥.ir Kirkland was accepted on motion by ~ouncilman
~llingsen and seconded by Oouncilman Snowden. carried.
The following Eesolution was presented by Councilman ~llingsen and moved its
adopt ion.

WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian,~'lorida,duly assembled on ~he 8th day o£
November 1954,in regular session,has examined the list of registered voters of said City
and has determined and does hereby determine and order that the names of the following
persons registered as voters on said list be removed and for the respective causes set
