Minutes of the called meeting of October 24, 1944,were read and approved
The minutes of the special meetin~f November 2nd. were read and approved
as corrected.
Mayor E. W. Vickers read resolutions regarding the general election to be
held in Sebastian on the second Monday in December,namely, December 11, '
for the purpose of electing three members to X~Xserve on the Council in
the place of the three councilmen whose office had expired .Term of said
office two ye..~rs. On roll call the resolution~ was .adopted unanimously.
Councilm~u Hardee moved,seconded by Mouncilman Tillis , that Mr. George F.
Vlckers,Mr. S. A. Braswell, Mr. ~eorge A. Braddock~be appointed as inspectors
and Mr. P.P.Lawson as-clerk of election, On roll call it was carried unani-
Councilman Shaw moved the ~gpl~lIXmmm~x rate of discount be changed to agree
with the County ra~e of discount and that it be advanced one mo~nth on ac-
count of delay in getting out the tax roll. Carried unanimously.
The clerk w,~s instructed to pay the rent
ending December first.

A letter to Ronald Senne was ordered requesting the removal of his scrap con
tainerfrom Main Street.
The Chalm~an appointed the clerk to find the tax values of the four properties
known as the "Erickson "properties, on the basis of Mr, Green's appralssal.
Meeting adjourned to meet in regular session on December fifth, 1944.
