Meeting called to order by President Channell at 7:00 P.N.
Those present: Mayor Boone, Councilmen DeCristofaro, Leonardy and Channell.
Minutes of regular meeting of October 8, 1962 and special emergency meeting of
October 26, 1962 were read and approved.
Councilmen Witt and Stevenson arrived and were seated.
Councilman Leonardy moved that bills for October, in the amount of $2614.64,
as listed in Bills Payable Book,be paid. Seconded by Councilman DeCristofaro.
Carried.
Motion made by Councilman Stevenson that Mr. William Heim be appointed a member
of the Zoning Commission. Seconded by Councilman Leonardy. Carried.
Councilman Leonardy moved that W. O. Daley, Auditor, be notified that city books
are available for audit through October 31, 1962. Seconded by Councilman Witt.
Carried.
Motion made byCouncilman Stevenson that siren on police car be placed on new
auxiliary fire truck, and that new siren be purchased for police car. Seconded
by Councilman Leonardy. Carried.
Motion made by Councilman Stevenson that bond #2108983, Continental Casualty,
re Unit #7, Sebastian Highlands, be released as completed. Seconded by
Councilman Witt. Carried.
Councilman Leonardy moved that city purchase candy for city Christmas party.
Seconded by Councilman DeCristofaro. Carried.
Councilman Witt moved that names of Tony DeCristofaro, Jackson M. Leonardy and
Paul Stevenson be placed on the ballot. Seconded by Councilman Channell. Carried.
Clerk was instructed to have ballot and voting machine prepared for December 10,
1962 election.
Motion made by Councilman Witt that city lease-purchase a Thermo-fax Copier,
lease payments to accrue toward purchase price of $359.00 at city option.
Seconded by Councilman Leonardy. Carried.
Councilman Leonardy moved that city pay $80.00 to Fire Dept. for purchase of
tires. Seconded by Councilman Witt. Carried.
Clerk instructed to continue membership in "League of Municipalities".
Clerk was instructed to write State Road Department re speed zones in city.
Motion made to adjourn by Councilman Stevenson. Seconded by Councilman Leonardy.
Carried.
