Park T. B. Hicks--absent Lenora K. Park-present James T. Vocelle-present The minutes of the regular meeting of November 1st and Special meeting of November $ were read and approved. Mr. H. W. Loving representing holders of the City of Sebastian street and sidewalk bonds appeared before the Council with a proposition regarding all delinquent bonds and coupons. After discussing the proposition Mr. Loving offered action was deferred until a later date. RESOLUTI C~: t 1 ~7 Councilman R. G. Hardee introduced the following resolution and moved it's adopt 1 on: WHEREAS, ~. K. Murdock has offered to the City of Sebastian, an easement for street purposes on the street known as Washington Street in said City and being located on the Northern boundary line of the property hereinafter described, provi- ided, that the City quit-claim to the said G. K. M~rdoch and Janelda R. Murdoch, his wife, which said deed as to description and reservation of easement, shall b$ as follows: Begin at a point in the center right-of-way of Washington Street in said City of Sebastian where said street intersects at right angles with the East right of way line of the new Dixie Highway as the same is located at the tim~ of the execution of this instrument and thence run South along the East right-of-way line of the said new Dixie Highway to a point which is exactly opposite a line produced from the artesian well now located on said lot 9 of Braddock's subdivision of part of lot 5, section 6, township 31 sout~, range 39 East; thence run East to the waters edge of th& Indian River; thence run North with the meanderings of the Indian River to the center right-of-way of Washington street; thence run West to the place of beginning; the said tract of land herein described being a part of lot 9 of Braddock's Subdivision of part of lot 5, Section 6, Township S1 south, range 39 East, to Indian River(formerly St. Lucie) County, Florida as shown by the plat of said subdivision recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of St. Lucle County Florida; provided that the grantor reserves an easement upon. and over the North 4~ feet of said property, being the South one-$alf(~ of Washington Street, the center line of said Washington street being the North boundary of the property herewith conveyed; said easement and the property reserveel to be used for street purposes by the said grantor, provided, that the fee simple title to said property reserved, subject to said easement, shall be vested in the grantees herein and upon the grantor, surrendering its municipal charter or discontinuing said street or the use thereof, this easement herewith reserved, shall be nmll and void and said property sh~ll be vested in the grantees or their heirs and/or assigns free from the easement and reservation herein contained. That said City officials are hereby instructed to affix to said deed, the seal of said City and the said deed when executed, shall be the act and deed of the City of Set~astian, Florida. The mol~l~nJ~ for the adoption of the resolution being duly seconded by Councilman Park, it was put to a vote and upon roll call it was adopted as follows: Ayes: Park, Baughman, Nartin and Hardee Nays: No;~e.
