Meeting c~tled to order by President Sembler. Those present were
Mayor Stevenson, Fresident Sembler, Councilman De Ctistofaro, Benschop, Bs~xter
and Brehmer.
Councilman Ben, chop made a motion to have an Ordinance entitled:
AN ORDINkNCE REGULATING AND RESTRICTING THE LOC.ATION, USE, LIGHTING AND
SIZE O~~ ~ITD00R ADV~RTISING DISDLAYS IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN AND PROVIDING
PENnY, TIES FOR T~tE VI<)LATION THEROF, read for the First time'in full, second
by Councilman Brehmer. Roll was called, voting as follows:

Councilman Benschop made a motion to said ordinance read for the

as Chapter number 177 of the ordinances o~ said City and was thereupon
duly posted at the ~oor of the City hall of the City of Sebastian in' a. ccordnance
with provision of section 85 of Cha.Pter 16683 of the laws
of Florida being beirut, the Chapter of said City.
Councilman Brehmer made a motion to have an Ordinance entitled:

FLORIDA STAT. UTES, (1957), MODEL TRAFFIC ORDINANCE FOR ~I~NICIPALITIES

Upon motion by Councilman Baxter said ordinance was read for
the second %i~by title only, second by Councilman Benschop, roll was called
voting as follows:

Councilman Baxter m~d~'""~ motion to have said ordinance rea. d for
the third and final time and placed upon its final passage. Second by
Councilman Brehmer. Eollwas called, voting as follows:

President Sembler, Councilman De Cristofaro, Benschop, Baxter,
and Brehmer.
Nays: None
Thereupon said Ordinance having received and affirmative vote
of three fifths of all members of the Council',' was declared duly a~opted and
upon being presented to the Mayor and haiving received his approval was
numbered as Chapter number 1~8 of the Ordinances of said City and was
ther-.upon duly posted at'~e door of the City hall of the City of Sebastian
in accordance with provision of section 85 of chapter 16~8~ of the laws of
~lorida being the Chapter of said~City. ,
Councilman Brehmer made a motion to purchase and edger if not
over $50.00 for the Street Department, second by Councilmam Benechop. Carried.
The Council instructed Councilman Baxter to inquire about a
pump for the motor in the Cemetery. -"

Councilm~uu Baxter made a motion to grant permission to Mrs. Mary
Turker King to move a building to her~:~property on South Lousinia ~venue,
Second by Councilman Brehmer. Carried.
