Those present were ~ayor Middleton,President Sweatt-and Councilmen Sembler,Ellingsen, Shaffer and ~)ahlstrom. ~ayor ~liddleton suggested to Council to take up four b~nds of the old issue which the owner has not up to this time turned in on the new issue whereby saving the City approximately $ 600.00 as the four bonds at a cost of $ 3600.00 inc;udes back intrest not paid. The Mayor was authorized, to purchase said bonds on motion by Councilman ScraWler ~h iah was seconded by Councilman Elllngsen.Carried. It was moved by Councilman Ellingesn and seconded by Counmilman Dahlstrom that Mayor Mlddleton be authordzed to purchase new siren for the police car.Carried. Councilman Dahlstrom reported that the ~attery on the ~ire Truck needed re~laceing and was authorized to purchase new ~attery for truck on motion by Councilman Ellingsen which was seconded by Councilman Sembler.Carrie~. Motion by Councilman Ellingsen which was amconded by ~ouncilman Shaffer authorized M~ or ~iddleton to purchase a new l~S1 Ford for the PolicecDepartment. Cost of ~he 1951 ford will be, Allowa~ ce on 01ds Ne~ Difference $2248.00 1900.00 348.00 Plastic ~eat covers Spot~ Light 47.50 18.50 414.00 ~pplicat~on for building permit was passed on motion ~y Councilman Sembler which was seconded by Councilman Shaffer .$a id permi~ for new home for Elmer ~'reese.carried. Building permit for ~.E.Turlington to add on~ room on present home was passed on motion by C§S~9~an and seconded by Councilman ~llingsen. ~arried. It was moved by Councilman ~embler and seconded ~y ~o'uncilman Ellingsen that the City purchase candy for the annual ~hris~mas party.~arried. Clerk
