NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS PUBLISHED IN THE PRESS JOURNAL ON NOVEMBER 24 AND DECEMBER 1 WAS READ BY
THE CITY CLERK. THERE FOLLOWED A SECOND READING OF THE ORDINANCE IN ITS ENTIRETY. AFTER A LENGTHY DISCUSSION
REVOLVING AROUND THE 1/2 HOUR LIMITATION ON MOORING, IT WAS DECIDED TO AMEND THE ORDINANCE TO READ:
NO BOAT SHALL MOOR OR TIE UP TO ANY MUNICIPAL DOCKS OR FISHING PIERS OWNED BY THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN
EXCEEDING 12 HOUR LIMIT WITHIN A 96 HOUR PERIOD.
MOTION BY COUNCILMAN HOOSE, SECONDED BY VICE MAYOR GRAY, TO ACCEPT THE 2ND READING OF THE ORDINANCE
AS AMENDED.
