Bad~er~ Councilmen Hardee, Bau~hman, Mo. rdock, Atty. Vooelle. Minutes of meetin~ of Oct. 5 and. Nov. 2 were read and adopted. Councilman Murdock made a motion that Clerk be instructed to collect 340.00 rent for grocery store bldg and in the event that rent is not paid at once to look i~ up. Sec. by Councilman BauEhman. Carried. Wednesday night Dec. 9, at 7.30 o'clock. Clerk .Adjourned re~lmr ~eetlng Dec. 9, 1936. Meeting was called to order by Counci~man Vlckers the roll called with the following members present: Mayor Geo. T. Badger. CounciLman Vickers. Murdock, ~ys. The Following resolution was offered by Councilman ~rdock: Re~olution i~ Whereas, under the ordinances and charter of the City of Sebastian, Florida, a general City el.ection is to be held in said City on the 14th day of Dec. 1936, for the purpose of electing three members of the City Council of said City for a term of two years each, and Whereas, petitions have been duly presented to the City Oouncil of the City of Sebastian, Florida, in accordance with law, signed by the recuisite number of Qualified e~ect~rs recuesting that the names of the following persons be placed on the ballot as candidates for the office of Councilman: G. K. Murdock, J. B. ~ays, B. N. Brown. Therefore, Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, that the above an~ foregoing names be placed on the official ballot to be voted at the election to be held in said City on the 14th day of Dec. 1936, and that the following form of official ballot be used: Official Ballot No.- .... Official Ballot General City ELection City of Se0astian, Florida December 14, 1936. To vote for any candidate make a cross mark (X) before the name of the candidate of your choice. For Clty Councilmen: Vote for three Be It further resolved that the C!ty Cle~"k of said City oe authorized and l~.struc1~d ~o have 200 ballots orir~ted for us~'~ in s.~id electio~ in accordance with the orovisions of this resolution. Be it further resolved that W. T. Atchle¥, E~Foster and ~rcb!.e S~1th be, and they are hereby .named as inspectors and P. P. L~wso~ be. and he is hereby named Clerk to conduct the said electio~ to be held in said City on Dec. 1~. 1936, in ~ccordance with l~aw in such cases made and ~rovided. The Fore~oing resolution was duly secouded and upon bein~ put to a vote ~dopted &~s follows: Ayes: Vickers, M~rdock, M~vs. Nevs: No~e. Mi~vor B~dger reported that Hob Park offered $5.00 per month for the rental of the house at present occupied by him, he to keep in repair. Col,ncilman ~ays moved that offer be accepted and that if 6 months rent be paid in advance city would give rental contract for a period of one year. Seconded by Councilman M~rdock, Csrrled. Councilman Murdock mow~d to adjourn to Dec. lA. 1936 at 7.30 P. ~f. Seconded ~y Councilman M~ys. Carried. Acting Chairman. Clerk
