Councilman ~urdock made a mo~ion that Clerk be instructed to collect ~0.00 rent for grocery store bldg and in ~he event that rent is not paid at once to lock l~ up. Sec. by Councilman Baughman. Meetln~ was called tO order by Councilman Vickers the roll called with the following members present: Mayor Geo. T. Bad,er, CounciLmmn Vickers, Murdock, Na~s. The Following resolution was offered by Councilman Murdock: Re~olution I~1~ Whereas, under the ordinances and charter of the City of Sebastian, Florida, a general City election is to be held in said City on the 14th day of Dec. 1936, for the purpose of electing three members of ~he City Council of said City for a term of two years each, and Whereas, petitions have been duly presented to the City Oouncil of the City of Sebastian, Florida, in accordance with law, signed by the reeuisite number of Qualified '$~c~rs recuesting ~hat the names of the following persons be placed on the ballot as candidates for the office of Councilman: G. K. Murdock, J. B. ~ays, B. N. Brown. Therefore, Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, that the above an~ foregoing names be placed on ~he official ballot to be voted at the election to be held in said City on the 14th day of Dec. 1936, and tha~ the following form of official ballot be used: Official Ballot NO, ..... Official Ballot General City Election City of Se0astlan, Florida December 14, 1936. To vote for any candidate make a cross m~rk (X) before the name of the candidate of your choice. For City Councilmen: Vote for three Be ~t further resolved thut tho City Cle?k of said City ~e authorized and l~struc~.d ~o have 200 balloSs printed for us. in said elec~io=, in accordance wl~h the ~rovlslons of this resolution. Be it further resolved that W. T. Atohley, E~:Foster ~ud ~rch!e S~Ith be. and they are hereby named as inspectors and P. P. L~wson be. and he is hereby named as Clerk to conduct the said election ~o be held in said City on Dec. l&. 1936, in ~ccordance with l~w in such cases made and provided. The Foregoing resolution was duly seconded and upon bein~ put to a vote ~dopted ~s follows: .Ayes: Vlckers, M~,rdock, M~vs. Nays: None. M~ver B-d~er reported that Ho~ Park offered ~5.00 per month for the rental of the house at present occupied by him, he to keep in repair. Co,~ncilman ~ays moved that offer be accepted and that if 6 month~ rent be paid in advance city would give rental contract for a period of one year. Seconded by Councilman ~rdock, C~rrled. Councilman ~urdock mow~d to adjourn to Dec. 14. 1936 at 7.30 P. li. Seconded by Councilman M~ys. Carried. Acting Chairman. Clerk
