~..eeting called to order by President T~ylor.
Those answering roll call were ~? ayor Mba ffer ,Pr~ sident Taylor, Councilman Sembler,
Ellingsen,Chesser and 8nowden. City Attorney Present.
~inutes of the last meeting were approved as read.
Bills totaling 8 336.25 approved by the. finance ~ommittee were authorized to be paid
on a motion by Councilman Ellin~sen an~. seconded by CouncilEan Chesser.
Building oermit application presented by John ~!ays was approved on mpt~on by Councilman
Mllin~sen ~nd seconde~ by Councilman Snowden.carried.
There bein2 no Cora~ittee reports with the exception of the Christmas ~arty which was
taken care of by Mrs Chesser as chairman reported that every thing had been taken care of
and reported that the Vero B~ach Oand would be here and that the School Children would sing
Christmas carols,Santa Claus to ~e furnished by The American Legion.
J.H.Pennington Clerk of the City .~lection board presented ~he election report to the
City as to the results of said election which were as follows, Three CouncilE.en to be
Elected out of f~e running for member of the City Council.

It was then moved by l~lrs Chesser to accept the .following re~olution,
WHEREAS, the~.Lnspeetor~ and Clerk of the General CitY. Election held in the JCity~oF
Sebastian,Florida on the ~3th day of December,1954 have made returns of th e City Election
as provided by Laws,AND,
?~REAS, the City Council has canvassed the said returns and has found the same in
proper form and has determined the ,results of said election to be as follows:
~i.M.Middleton received 51- Votes
w.I~. Owen re ce ire d 35 Vote s
C.W. Sembler received 89 'Vote s
Col.Wm L.Snowden received 79 Votes
C.E.Taylor re ce ived 98 Votes
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that it is herewith determined that C.E.Taylor,C.W.Sembler
and Col.Wm L.Snowden were elected to be members of the City Council to serve for a two(2)
year term next and ensuing or until their respective successors shall be elected and
qualified. Said resolution was secon~ied by Councilman %llingsen and adopted.
C.E.Taylor was reappointed as President of the City Council on a motion by Councilman
~embler which was seconGed by ~ouncilman Councilman Snowden and carried.
Councilman was reappointed as fresident Protem on a motion ~y Councilman Ellingsen which
seconded ~y Councilman Sembler and carried.
President Taylor made no change in the Committees and ~e said Committees are as follows
