Councilman DeCristofaro, absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of November 9, 'and Special called meeting of Nov. 12, 16, & December 8 were approved as read. Bills amounting to $1,170.92 were approved By the ~inance Committee and authorized t'O be paid on a motion by Oouncilaan Denschop, Second by Councilman Brehaer,. Carried. Mayor Stevenson read the monthly police report which showed a net profit of $1,539.70. . 0ouncilam~ ~axter made a motion that the 01erk and Inspectors of the election to be paid. s12.00 each, second by 0ouncilmanBenschop. Carried. 01erk read election returns of Dec. 14, two (2) Councilman and a ~ayor to be elected out of five (5) candidates for Council and-Two ~2) candidated for. A meeting of the new Cotmeil was called to order- Those present were Councilman Sembler, Council~ ~xter and Brehaer, and Councilman Elect J. J.-l~innegan, John ~. ~!~sh and Mayor Fred Rohae. MayOr elect Rohae and Councilmen elect Naeh and l~A~megan were sworn in',?by ~ayor Stevenson. A motion was made by 0ou~cilaan 'Baxter that Councilman Sembler be reappointed as Chairman of' the Council, second by CounCilman ~reh~er. 0arried. A motion was made by Counci3mmn I~-ehaer to appoint Oouncil~an · innegan as 0ahirman Pro-ten, second by Cou~ei-laan Nash, Cea, tied. Councila~n ]~rehaer made a motion to reappelat~-~r. Joe E. ~arren as Clerk. second by 0ouncilaan Na~h, Carried. Chief Councilman Nash made a action to appoint ~r. Ja~es a Pease as of Police, second 1~ Councilman l~A~ne~. OmA'tied.
