Special me~ting called by the ~ayor to discuss retireing of bonds and any other
business necessary.
~leetihg called to order by Bresident Taylor.
Those present were lviayor ~hafI'er,PresidentJ Taylor and Coumcilman Sembler,.~llingsen
and Snowden.
Building permit presented by W.R.0wen was authorized on motion by Councilman El~ingsen
which was seconded by Oounc£Lman Sembler and carried.
The following resolution was presented by Councilman Sembler who moved its adddption.
~tEHEAS, Joseph T.and Ruby E.Ragnis his wife have offered to purchase from the City
of Sebastian,Florida, at a consideration of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) the following
property to-wit:
Lot 5 of ~lock 1 School Park Subdivision Replat according to replat of said subdiv.
vision recorded in Plat ~ook 2 at page 29,Public records in the office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Indian _~iver County,Florida.

'.~'E~EAS: said property is not held by the City for any public or municipal purpose
and is property which has been aceuired b_v said City for non-pa.wment of its tax liens
thereon and is held for sale;a~d Said c0nS~deration offered to be paid for said
being not less than the fair value thereof; and it being to the best intrest of this
so to do; THE~EFO_~E,
~EEOLVED, that the CiSy of -~ebastlan sell the purchaser aforsaid the proPer~,y de~
scribed,and at the consideration hereinbefore stated and that the h'layor and City Clerk
of said City seal deed of coveyance of said property of sai~ purchaser upon receipt by
the city of the full consideration to be oaid therefore as above stated.
Councilman i~Jllingsen seconded said motion which was carried.
A letter was read to the oity Council from Beil & Hough bond brokers offering to the
City of ~eb~stian ten Oonds of the City of Oebastian 1950 issue,or any portion the City
desired at 84 1/4,and after due consideratin given same it was moved by ~ouncilman
Snowden to offer Bell & Hough 80 for five of the said bonds offered.~aid motion was
seconded by Councilman oembler and carried.Clerk was insZructed to call ~eil & Hough
the next morning .carried.
Mr Thornton told the 0ity Council that ~r Perlman would like to ~mve the weeds
cut on his property. It was suggested by uouncilman Snowden that the ~ity man 'be
authorized to do said work during working hours an~ he ~hought the ~ity should get at
least three(S3.00) per for the work.The City agreed to sar~.
There 'being no more 'business to corse before the Council meeting was duly adjpurned.
Clerk
