December 29, 1960
Meeting was called to order by President Sembler.
Those present were Mayor Rohme, President Sembler, Councilman Finnegan,
Nash, Baxter and DeOristofaro.
Councilman Baxter made a motion to employ Lloyd and Associates in the
capacity of City Engineer, according to Mr. Lloyds proposal which is as follows:/
1. $25.00 for each Council meeting, or other meetings I am required
to attend; notice for attendance shall be given by telephone and
confirmed by letter.
2. Consultation with City officials and City Clerk in my office or by
telephone, at no expense to the city. '~
3.Any work of an engineering nature for the City of Sebastian shall
be assigned to Lloyd and Associates, the fee for such an assignment.~
to be in accordance with the Fee Schedule attached hereto. ./~...,,'''~-~ ....
This motion was seconded by Councilman Na~h, carried.
Clerk read a letter from City Attorney in reference to a survey of the
Hansen Property adJom~ning City property at the North City limits by the Carter
Engineering Firm. Also presented a plat of this survey.
City attorney read a letter addressed to Mr. Harvey D. Booth, manager,
of the Title Security Company, stating that Quit Claim Deed given to Mildred
and Lenora Park by the City of Sebastian only conveyed any rights, titles, or
interest the City might own on the North 30 feet, lot l, block I of W. A. Martin
Subdivision. Since apparently the City h~lds no interest in this property , then
of course it released none.
Clerk read a petition signed by the following people;

TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF SEBASTIAN, ~LORIDA:
We the undersigned, property owners respectfully request that you take
immediate steps to have the Hauling Business of Jerry Adams DISCONTINUED at
its present address on Main Street, said business being a nuisance and Not
coming under the head of "lst Class Commercial Business" for which his present
address is zoned.
After considerable discussion ~etween the petitioners and the City Council
the petition was referred to the Zoning Commissioners of the City for their
recommendations. At which time it will She~ be brought up to the City Council.
Councilman Nash made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilman ~innegan.
