Pro-Tom R. G. Hardee ~'. A. Park W. C. ~raddock A. G. Roberts James T. Vocelle Councilman Y. L. Montgomery was found to be absent. MOT~N~:~mad'et~b~ C.oun~ttmau~:~addock, seconded by Councilman Park, that Attorney Vocelle be instructed t~ prepare an Ordinance regarding the running at large of Dogs. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. The followin~[!~ resolution was introduced by Councilman S. A. Park, and seconded by CounciLman W. C. Braddock. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Seb~stian, Florida, has here- to fore ~pproved and accepted plat of Ocean Breeze Hei:!i[~hts, beinf~ a subd~visim of 0key Bland, of part of Section Thirty F~ming Grant, and part of Government Lot 0ne~ Section Thirty-One, Township T~irty South, Range Thirty Nine East, in the ~ity~of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida; and ' Whereas, the said 0key Bland and Lucy D. Bland, his wife, did in and by said plat dedicate to the use of tho public certain streets and parks appearirg on said plat and ~oung others a---~arl~ a~'d-pu-b±~'g~'~quares between Blocks 5 ~q~ereas, the said plat and the said dedication were accepted on behalf of said City by the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida; and Whereas, the said 0key Bland now desires to file an amended p~mt said'Ocean Breeze H0i~hts subdivision, and to change the location of said Park, and to place the s~e on the East side of Block 5; and Whereas, the said'0koy Bland has this day presented to the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, such amended plat; Th~refore, Be It Resolved, by the City Council of the City of Sebastian, Florida, that the said City of Sebastian, does hereby relinquish and e~oressly abandon all right, title or inter.ost that it has acquired by virture of the acceptance of the dedication of the park and Public Squares appearing'on the original plat of Ocean Breeze Heights, between Blocks 5 and 8 thereof, and does hereby now expressly revoke its former acceptance of said dedication and d.o.:':~s hereby now expressly accept tho dedicat.i..on of all parks and streets as appearing on the ~mended plat of Ocean Breeze tteights~ this d..~y pr.~sented to the Council, and tho Mayor and City Clerk of s~id ~ity, are hereby ahthor~ otate of ized to execute to Ocean Breeze Land Comply, a corporation of the ~ Florida, successor in title to said 0key Bland in and to said. Subdivision, and expressly relinquish to the said Ocean Breeze Land Company, any right, title and ~nter~st that said City may have acquired to the park and public ~uares appearing on the original plat of Ocean Breeze He.i~zhts of said Blocks 5 and 8 of said subdivision. Those voting in favor of the above resolution were: Councilmen Braddock, Park, H.~rdee and Martin. Those voting against the above resolution were: None. RESOLUTION N0. ['' ~ The following resolution was introduced 'by Councilman i:ark and Seconded by Councilman Hardee: Whereas, a general election will be held in the City of Sebastian, Florida, on the 12th day of December, 1927, for the purpose of electing the following officers, to-wit: a Mayor, and two Councilmen; and Whereas, it is the duty of the City Council to appoint three inspectors~ and one clerk to conduct said'election, '~:).... Therefore, Bo It Resolved, that Mrs. Bamma Lawson, 0key Bland and ~Mrtis B. Arnold bo aD?ointed inspectors to conduct said election, and that !~.[. M. Braddock be appointed Clerk of said election, and be it further Resolved, that the City Clerk furnish the Inspectors and Clerk of said election with a list of the persons oualified under the provis'ions of · the City Charter, of said City of Sebastian, Florida, to vote, and be it fur thor Resolved, that the City Clerk have printed at least 100 ballots for each fifty persons qualified to vote at said election. Those voting in favor of the above resolution were: Councilmen Martin, Hardee, Park and Braddock. Those voting ~gainst the above resolution wore: none. Whereupon the resolution was declared adopted. MOTION mud. e by Councilman Hardee, seconded by Councilman Braddock, that the Clerk post three notices :.~dvertising that 'tho City will receive bids for retail ~.ce deliveries within t~o 0ity limits; said bids to be received un. til 7:$0 o'clock P.I,,~. December 18th, 19~?. Contract for said ice delivery to be for a period of six months, beginning Januar~ 1st, 19E8 and ending June S0th, 19~8; bids to be opened by the City Council at i~s meeting of December 18th, 19~. Motion carried. MOTION made by Councilman Park, seconded by Councilman Braddock, that Council adjourn. ~oti~n carried.
