HomeMy WebLinkAbout04301985AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD MEETING APRIL 30, 1985 4:00 P.M. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 4:00 P.M., BY CHAIRMAN EDWARD PALUCH. PRESENT: LATE ARRIVERS ABSENT: MR. MEGUIN MR. MARROW MR. VAN DEVOORDE MR. PALUCH MR. DEJOIA (4:08 p.m.) MR. MASTELLER (4:17 p.m.) MR. KENNY MR. METCALF (EXCUSED) CHAIRMAN PALUCH REQUESTED THAT THE RECORD REFLECT THAT MR. VAN ANTWERP AND MRS. CAROL CARSWELL WERE BOTH IN ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING. CHAIRMAN PALUCH STATED THAT IF THE BOARD HAD NO OBJECTION THEY COULD DEVIATE FROM THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA AND WORK ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1985-1986. THE BOARD HAD NO OBJECTIONS AND INVITED MRS. CARSWELL TO JOIN THE BOARD AT THE TABLE. THE BOARD PROCEEDED TO DO A LINE BY LINE PREPARATION OF THE PROPOSED BUDGET. MOTION BY MR. MORROW, SECONDED BY MR. VAN DEVOORDE, TO ACCEPT THE BUDGET AS PROGRAMMED HERE TODAY. MOTION CARRIED. THE BOARD THANKED MRS. CARSWELL FOR HER TIME AND ASSISTANCE IN THE PREPARATION. MOTION BY MR. VAN DEVOORDE, SECONDED BY MB. MORROW, TO ACCEPT THE NEW REVISED FORM FOR THE OPERATING STATEMENT OF THE AIRPORT. MOTION CARRIED. MANAGERS REPORT: MR. VAN ANTWERP STATED THAT HE HAD SPOKEN WITH MR. GOFF AND THAT THE HOLD UP ON THE MASTER PLAN SEEMS?TO LIE WITH THE F.A.A. RE.- VIEWING THE POSPOSED DOCUMENTS. MOTION BY MR. MASTELLER, SECONDED BY MR. VAN DEVOORDE, TO REQUEST POST, BUCKLEY, SCHUH & JERRIGAN, TO APPEAR AT THE NEXT MEETING OF THE AIRPORT BOARD TO REPORT THE STATUS OF THE PROGRAM. MOTION CARRIED. MR. VAN ANTWERP STATED THAT THE SIGNS HAD BEEN ERECTED AND THAT THE HERBICIDE PROGRAM WOULD BEGIN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. MOTION BY MR. MASTELLER, SECONDED BY MR. VANDEVOORDE, TO ACCEPT THE AIRPORT MANAGERS REPORT. MOTION CARRIED. MOTION BY MR. MASTELLER, SECONDED BY MR. VAN DEVOORDE, TO ADJOURN THE MEETING. TIME 5:04 P.M. MOTION CARRIED.
