HomeMy WebLinkAbout11261985MINUTES OF MEETING OF AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD - NOVEMBER 26, 1985 MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY CHAIRMAN EDWARD PALUCH AT 4:00 P.M. PRESENT: CHAIRMAN EDWARD PALUCH, ROBERT MORROW, GEORGE METCALF, EX-OFFICIO MEMBER JOHN VAN ANTWERP. NO REGULAR MEETING WAS HELD BECAUSE OF LACK OF A QUORUM, BUT THERE WAS A BRIEF DIS- CUSSION WITH STEVE JOHNSON, SEBASTIAN AERO SERVICES, WHO WOULD LIKE TO ACQUIRE ADDITIONAL PARKING SPACES BUT DOESN'T WANT A SUB-LEASE OR TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING FEES. CHAIRMAN PALUCH RECOMMENDED THAT HE DISCUSS THIS WITH THE CITY ATTORNEY AND THE AIRPORT MANAGER AND THEN GO TO A COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING SINCE THIS BOARD IS ONLY ADVISORY IN NATURE. SINCE MR. DE JOIA HAS RESIGNED, CHAIRMAN PALUCH REQUESTED THAT AN AD BE PLACED IN THE PAPER FOR A REPLACEMENT. IT WAS DECIDED TO HOLD THE NEXT MEETING ON THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED DATE IN JANUARY. SESSION ADJOURNED AT 4:30 P.M. MEETING OF AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD NOVEMBER 26, 1985 - 4:00 P.M. AGENDA CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL APPROVE MINUTES OF MEETING OF OCTOBER 29, 1985 OPERATING STATEMENT FOR PERIOD ENDED OCTOBER 31, OLD BUSINESS: AIRPORT MANAGER' S REPORT NEW BUSINESS: STATUS OF FAA GRANT GOLF COURSE LEASE AIRPORT SAFETY COMMITTEE SELF-FUELING ADJOURN 1985 NOTE: IF ANY PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE ON THE ABOVE MATTERS, HE/SHEWILLNEEDARECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSES, HE/SHEMAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY IN EVIDENCE ON WHICH THE APPEAL IS BASED.
