LIFESTYLE HOMES, IN REGARDS TO LOT 18, BLOCK 6, SEBASTIAN HIGHLANDS UNIT 1, HAS REQUESTED A VARIANCE TO ALLOW WASTEWATER FACILITIES IN THE REAR YARD, WHEREAS THE ORDINANCE REQUIRES THE PLACEMENT OF SUCH FACILITIES IN THE FRONT OR SIDE YARD. MOTION CARRIED. BRUCE COOPER ASKED rpHAT THIS HEARING BE POSTPONED, SINCE A REPRESENTATIVE ['ROM LIFESTYLE HOMES WAS NOT PRESENT. HE SUGGESTED THAT LIFESTYLE HOMES BE ASKED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. ATTEND THE MEETING 2. PROVIDE EXACT LOCATION OF WELL ON LOT 8, BLOCK 6 3. SHOW TENTATIVE APPROVAL FROM H.R.S. FOR PROPOSED SYSTEM. SINCE SEVERAL PEOPLE WERE PRESENT AT TIlE MEETING WttO HAD INPUT CONCERNING THiS VARIANCE, iT WAS DECIDED TO HEAR THEIR STATEMENTS . FIG S'?R[~ET (5a9--2! 32) ~AS PRESENT AND VOICED OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED VARIANCE INDICATING THAT IT WOULI) ADVERSELY AFFECT ANY PI,ANS OF BUiLDiN(:i ON HiS LOT. KAREN BLEAKLEY', OWNER ()IF LOT 8, BLOCK 6, UNIT ].. ( 388-]_940 ) WAS PRESENT. SHE STATED THAT THE WELl; ON HER PROPERTY AS IT IS SHOWN ON '].'HE SURVEY IS INCORRECT. THE WELL SHOWN IS AN IRRIGATION WELL AND NOT THEIR DRINKING WATER. WELL. THE DRiNKiNG WATER WELL iS LOCATED ONLY 19 FEET FROM THE REaR PROPERTY LINE. THIS WOULD PREVENT THE PLACEMENT OF A REAR SEPTIC SYSTEM ON I,OT 18 AS PROPOSED BY LIFESTYLE HOMES. WALT REVELEE, FROM LIFESTYLE HOMES ARRIVED AT THE MEETING AN[) WAS ADVISED OF THE ERROR ON THE SURVEY. HE WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS AND INDICATED THAT IT WOUld) PROBABLY CAUSE THiS LOT TO BE UNBUILDABLE. BRUCE COOPER ADVISED MR. REVELEE TO GET A CORRECTED SURVEY AND TO CHECK WITH H.R.S. CONCERNING THE POSSIBLE PLACEMENT OF A REAR SEPTIC SYSTEM ON THIS LOT. MR. REVELEE DID iNDICATE THAT MR. MOONEY~ FOR WHOM LIFESTYLE WAS ASKING FOR THE VARIANCE, ALSO OWNI~X) THE ADJACENT LOT 17, BLOCK 6, UNiT 1. MR. REVELEE FELT THAT IN LIGHT OF THE NEW FACTS, MR. MOONEY WOULD PROBABLY CHOOSE TO BUILD ON LOT 1.7 ..[NS'I?I-~JAI) OF LOT 18. MOTION BY MRS. HEiNICKE, SECONDED BY MR. STEPHENSON TO POSTPONE THIS PUBLIC. HEARING UNTIL CORRECTED INEORMATION IS SUBMITTED. ROLL CALL: YES: CHAIRMAN MATTHEWS MR. STEPHENSON MR. SHIELDS MRS. HEINICKE NO: NONE MOTION CARRIED. CHAIRMAN'S MATTERS: THE BOARD SECRETARY WAS DIRECTED TO SEND A FRUIT BASKET TO MR. PRIORE WHO WAS RECENTLY IN THE HOSPITAl, AND IS NOW AT HOME RECOVERING FROM AN ILLNESS.
