NEW BUSINESS A. RUBLIC 11EARM : LAWRENCE AND PAMELA PAUL, IN REGARDS TO LOT 4 AND THE NORTHERLY 60.12 FEET OF LOT 3, BLOCK 404, SEBASTIAN HIGHLANDS UNIT 111) ARE REQUESTING A VARIANCE FROM SECTION 20A- 3.4(D)(6)(A) OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO ALLOW A STRUCTURE TO BE 15 FEET FROM THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE, WHEREAS THE CODE REQUIRES STRUCTURES TO BE A MINIMUM OF 25 FEET FROM THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE. Following recommendation for denial from the Director of Community • Development, input from Lawrence and Pamela Paul, and a City Council discussion, motion was made. MOTION by Cartwright/Halloran I move that we approve the request for variance from Lawrence and Pamela Paul based on the criteria, unusual number of trees and the peculiar placement of the well and the septic tanks on this particular piece of property. Mr. Halloran seconded the motion with the provision that this be maintained as a carport only.
