HomeMy WebLinkAbout11091999 City of Sebastian Charter Review Committee November 9, 1999 5:30 PM Minutes Final Meeting Chairman called the meeting to order at 5:35 PM Roll Call: Mr. McCollum, Mrs. Fielding, Mrs. McCann, Mr. Thomas, absent, Mr. Hill, absent, Mr. Cormelly, Mr. Neglia, Mr. Generazio, Mrs. Damp, absent, Mr. Napier, Mr. Paul, absent, Mr. Barnes, resigned, Mrs. Cartwright, absent excused, Mrs. Kautenberg, absent, Mr. Davis, absent. Staff members present were Linda Kinchen, Recording Secretary, and Terrence Moore, City Manager Mrs. Damp arrived at 5:40 PM Public Input: - None Approval of Minutes: None Old Business: Discuss how to get the word out for election day. Nate will talk to the Property Owners at their meeting in December. It is suggested that the members talk to what ever board they may be affiliated with and Nate indicated that he would talk to any organization that the members would like him to. Nate asked the City Manager if money for copies could be found to print 500 copies of the amendments so they would have something to hand out when speaking on them. The City Manager stated that would be no problem. Also, it was suggested that some sort of editorial for each amendment be added before printing in order to better allow people to understand what they are voting for. Mr. Moore stated that would be fine. New Business: None Member Comments: Thank you's to each other Staff Comments: Secretary advises the members that their presence is requested at the meeting of November 17th for certificates of thank you.
