Members Present: Ed Schmucker, Ed Paluch, Jim Harris, Merle Hasson, Houston

Members Absent: Terry Verner
A motion was made by Ed Paluch, seconded by Merle Hasson to accept the minutes
of last week's meeting, February 21, 1978. Ail in favor, none opposed.
Ed Paluch made a motion to let th~ Board, when it does become a Board, define
"Specialty Contractors." Merle Hasson seconded it. Later on in thediscussion,
Ed Paluch withdrew his motion. The definition of "Specialty contra¢%Ors," as
defined in the City of Sebastian Certification Law book, wasaccepted by all
the m~mbers of the board the way it is now written.
In Section 5, Certification.--A newparagraph was added:
(b) The examination shall be the H.H. Block Proctored test and/or the
equivalent. (.This is the new Paragraph)
(c) This paragraph will read about the passing grade of seventy-five
percent (75%). (ThiS was(b) before theaboVe Was~ added}
In Section 2, "Plumbing contractors" --the years of minimum experience was
changed from four (4) years to five (5) years. The same change was made to
the "Electrical contractors."
"Journeymen" was changed also. They nowqualifywith a minimum e~perience of
three (3) years, not two (2) years.
The next meeting will be called whenEd SchmUckerand BuckVocellehaVe finalized
this certification law. book. Ed willnotify Grace at the'BuildingDeP&rtment and
she will let everyone else knowthe' date and time.'
