PALMER AND VICE CHAIRMAN TRiPP RESIGNED. MBTION'BY'MR. LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. CAREY, TO APPROVE THE BOARD MEETING MINUTES FOR FEBRUARY ? AND 21, 1984, OARRIED. PAZEN~ KEITH/TILE AND MARBLE MOTION BY MR. CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. LANGLDIS, TO FORMALLY APPROVE THE APPLICATION OF MR. PAZEN, AFTER RECEIPT OF ADDITIONAL VERIFICATION OF 4 MONTHS, AS COMPLETED BY CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN. CARRIED. CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT THE BOARD HAS RECEIVED AN APPLICATION FROM MR. FLOOD TO RE-ACTIVATE HIS LICENSE AND THE BOARD WOULD HAVE TD MAKE A MOTION TO BRING IT TD THE FLOOR FOR POSSIBLE DISCUSSION AND ACTION. NOTION'BY MR. LANGLOIS~ SECONDED BY MR. CAREY~ TO BRING TO THE FLOOR FOR POSSIBLE ACTION AND DISCUSSION THE APPLICATION ON MR. FLOOD. CARRIED. CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT THE BOARD HAD ALSO RECEIVED A LATE APPLICATION ON BAUMANN FOR PAPER HANGING. CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT IT WOULD BE HIS RECOMMENDATION THAT IF MR. BAUMANN WOULD ONLY DO PAPER HANGING THAT HE WOULD ONLY NEED AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE AND CERTIFICATE DF INSURANCE. MOTION BY MR. LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. CAREY~ TO APPROVE THAT APPLICATION FOR RE-ACTIVE STATUS FOR MR. FLOOD'S ELECTRICAL LICENSE. CARRIED. MOTION BY MR. LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. RIZIO~ THAT THE BOARD NOT REQUIRE LICENSING IN THE FIELD OF PAPER HANGING AND THAT THE APPLICANT ONLY NEED AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE. CARRIED. MOTION BY MR. LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. CAREY, TO ACCEPT WITH REGRET THE RESIGNATION DF VICE CHAIRMAN TRIPP. CARRIED. MOTION BY MR. LANGLOIS~ SECONDED BY MR. CAREY~ THAT THE SECRETARY ORDER A PLAQUE FOR MR. TRIPP SINCE HE HAD BEEN AN ORIGINAL MEMBER OF THE BOARD. CARRIED. CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT THE MEETING WOULD CLOSE FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE BOARD REVIEWING THE APPLICATIONS~ 7:57 P.M. CHAIRMAN HARRIS RE-OPENED THE MEETING AT 8:33 P,M. TESCHNER/RESIDENTIAL SWIMMING POOL EXAMINATION/GAINESVILLE MOTION BY MR. CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. RIZiO, TO APPROVE THE APPLICATION FOR MR. TESCHNER TO BE RE-TESTED IN GAiNESVILLE. CARRIED. CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT THE TEST WOULD BE FOR THE SWIMMING POOL CONTRACTORS LICENSE ONLY AS MR. REGAN, JOHN B./SWIMMING POOL CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT THE APPLICATION WAS IN ORDER EXCEPT FOR AN ORIGINAL LETTER FROM THE COUNTY WHERE THE TEST WAS ADMINISTERED. MOTION BY MR. LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. CAREY, TO APP.ROVE THE LICENSE PENDING THE ORIGINAL LETTER AND THAT THE CHAIRMAN AND ONE BOARD MEMBER REVIEW THE LETTER FROM THE SPONSORING COUNTY AND BRING BACK TO THE NEXT MEETING FOR FORMAL ACCEPTANCE. SCHARDT HE HAD NOT HAD ANY EXPERIENCE IN MASONRY WORK AND HE WOULD HAVE TO PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS PRIOR TD BEING ISSUED A LICENSE. MOTION BY MR. CAREY~ SECONDED BY MR. RIZIO-Z?~ TO TOTALLY DISREGARD THE FIRST MOTION TO TABLE MR. SCHARDT'S APPLICATION. CARRIED. MOTION BY MR. CAREY~ SECONDED MR. RIZIO~ TO ACCEPT THE APPLICATION OF MRj SCHARDT'S MASONRY SUB-CONTRACTORS LICENSE PENDING THE RECEIPT OF VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT FOR A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS AND THAT PRIOR TO LICENSING THE CHAIRMAN AND ONE BOARD MEMBER WILL REVIEW THE INFORMATION AND BRING BACK TO THE NEXT MEETING FOR FINAL APPROVAL. CAREY~ THAT THE SEBASTIAN CONSTRUCTION BOARD NO'LONGER LICENSE HOUSE CLEANERS AND THEY THE ONLY REQUIREMENT WOULD BE TO PURCHASE AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, FROM THiS DATE FORWARD. CARRIED, SCHLEMMER~ HARVEY/INSULATION MOTION BY MR. CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. LANGLOIS~ TO APPROVE THE APPLICATION PENDING THE INSURANCE CERTIFICATE BE IN MR.
