STENNER ATTEND THE NEXT MEETING SO HE MAY ANSWER SOME OFT~BE QUESTIONS, MR. STENNER HAS AN EXTENSIVE SOHOOL BACK- GROUND BUT HE FELT THAT THE KNOWLBDGE DID NOT REFLECT CONSTRUCTION EXPERienCE. MR. MOHLER STATED THAT HE WAS A LICENSED ENGENEER AS IS MR. STENNER HOWEVER HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STARTTTO CONSTRUCTI~ HOME. MOTION BY MR. LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. RIZIO, TO TABLE THE APPLICATION OF MR. STENNER AND REQUEST THAT HE APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD AND ANSWER QUESTIONS OF CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE. CARRIED. TACKETT, WM./SWIMMING POOL EXAMINATION MOTION BY MR. CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. MOHLER, TO ACCEPT MR. TACKETT'S APPLICATION FOR A SWIMMING POOL CONTRACTORS EXAMINATION TO BE GIVEN MAY 12, 198a. CARRIED. MR. HALL RE-ENTERED THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT 8:50 P.M. AND STATED THAT HE HAD GONE HOME AND HAS THE ADDITIONAL PROOF THAT THE BOARD HAD REQUESTED. MOTION BY MR. CAREY, SEOONDED BY MR. LANGLOIS, TO BRING TO'~i~_....._ FLOOR DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON THE PAPERS OF ~R. HALL. CARRIED. MOTIO~ BY MR. CAREY, SEOONDED BY MR. 8~810, THAT BASED ON THE CHECKS DATED BACK TO MAY 1980, IN THE NAME OF HALL CONSTRUCTION, THAT THE ISSUANCE OF THE LICENSE BE GRANTED AND THAT THE CLERK COPY AND FILE A~D INFORMATION EXAMINED HERE IN THE PERMANENT FILE. CARRIED. MR. LANGLOIS NOMINATED MR. CAREY AS THE NEW VICE-CHAIRMAN THERE WERE NO OTHER NOMINATIONS MOTION BY MR. LANGLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. MOHLER, TO APPOINT MR. CAREY AS THE VICE CHAIRMAN. CARRIED. MR. CAREY STATED THAT HE WOULD DO THE BEST ~OB HE COULD FOR THE BOARD. MR. HARRIS STATED THAT HE WOULD BE IN THE CLERKS OFFICE IN THE MORNING TO SIGN THE LETTER HE DICTATED TO THE MAYOR. CARRY, THAT THE 80ARD APPROVE THE APPLICATION FOR LICENSING. CARRIED. HALL, CHRISTOPHER/ALUMINUM SUB-CONTRACTOR CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT THE APPLICATION WAS LACKING ABOUT 2 MONTHS SHORT OF CONSTRUCTION EXPEREINCE. MOTION BY MR. CARRY, SECONDED BY MR. LANGLOIS, TO ACCEPT THE APPLICATION PENDING THE PROOF OF TWO REARS CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE. SECOND AMENBED BY MR. LANGLOiS, MOTION AMENDED BY MR. CARRY, THAT THE CHAIRMAN AND ONE BOARD MEMBER APPROVE THE INFORMATION AND THAT THE APPLICATION BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE BOARD FOR EINAL APPROVAL. CARRIED. ~C QUILLAN, DAN/CRANE SERVICE MOTION BY MR. PRESENT: HARRIS MR. LANGLOIS, MR. RIZIO, MR. CAREY, MR. MOHLER, AND CHAIRMAN ABSENT: MR. GREG PALMER HUSTON TRIPP RESIGNED MOTION BY MR. LA~GLOIS, SECONDED BY MR. RIZIO, TO BRING TO THE BLOOP A DI. SCUSSION REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES. CARRIED. MOTION BY MR. CAREY, SBOONDED BY MR. MOHLER, TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF MARCH 20, 1984, MEETING. CARRIED. REGAN, SAMES/SWIMMING POOL MOTION BY MR. LANGGOIS, SECONDED BY MR. CAREY, TO ACCEPT THE APPROVAL OF THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD MEMBER FOR OAMES REGAN, SWIMMING POOL CON- TRACTOR. CARRIED. SCHARDT, GEO. WM./MASONRY MOTION BY MR. GAREY, SECONDED MR..MOHLER, TO ACCEPT THE APPROVAL THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD MEMBER FOR MR. SCHARDT'S MASONRY SUB-CON- TRACTORS LICENSE. FISCHER, HENRY, OR/SEPTIC TANK CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT THE APPLICATION HAD BEEN TABLED AND THAT MR. MOHLER WAS GOING TO CHECK TO SEE IF THE STATE REQUIRED ANY LICENSING PRIOR TO OUR ISSUANCE. MR. MOHLER REPORTED THAT THE STATED DID NOT ISSUE LICENSING FOR IN- STALLATION OF SEPTIC TANKS AND THAT THE CITY DID NOT EVEN DO THE INSPECTIONS FOR INSTALLATION. CHAIRMAN HARRIS BTATED THAT THE BOARD SHOULD PROBABLY ISSUE LICENSING SO THAT THE CITY WOULD HAVE SOME RECOURSE ON THESBBB-CONTRACTOR IF HE DiD NOT DO THE OOB PROPERLY. MOTION BY MR. CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. MOHLER, TO ACCEPT THE APPLICATION OF MR. FISCHER FOR LICENSING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SEPTIC TANKS. CARRIED.
