DERNBACH, SECONDED BY MR. CHEATHAM TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF MEETING HELD 3/14/89 AS WRITTEN. CARRIED. VICE CHAIRMAN LAMAN REQUESTED A RECESS SO THAT THE BOARD COULD GO OVER THE APPLICATIONS, RECESSED 7:33 P.M. - REOPENED AT 8=05 P.M. WITH ALL PRESENT. NEW BUSINESS= BLOCK EXAM - SEBASTIAN - MAY WOOD, REX/CARPENTRY MOTION BY MR. CHEATHAM, SECONDED BY MR. DERNBACH TO HAVE DISCUS8ION ON APPLICATION. CARRIED. IT NAS NOTED THAT MR. WOOD'S VERIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE WAS NOT NOTARIZED. MOTION BY MR. NEUBEROER, SECONDED BY MR. CHEATHAM TO APPROVE THE APPLICATION CONTINGENT UPON EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION. CARRIED. DEBUS 8AID THAT HE PAID CASH FOR EVERYTHING. IT WAS EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE REPORT WOULD SHOW NO BAD CREDIT WHICH IS WHAT THE BOARD WAS INTERESTED IN. MOTION BY MR. NEUBERGER, SECONDED BY MR. CHEATHAM TO ACCEPT APPLICATION CONTINGENT UPON THE RECEIPT OF A CREDIT REPORT. CARRIED. PALLO, KENNETH M./IRRIGATION MOTION BY MR. DERNBACH, SECONDED BY MR. NEUBERRER TO ACCEPT APPLICATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSION. CARRIED. THE BOARD SECRETARY TOLD THE BOARD THAT MR. PALLO HAD ORIGINALLY REFUSED TO SUBMIT A CREDIT REPORT BUT THAT ONE HAD BEEN HAND DELIVERED AT 4~0 P.M. TODAY. SHE ALSO REMINDED THE BOARD THAT THERE WAS A PRIVACY ACT WHERE A PER~ON8 CREDIT WAS CONCERNED AND THAT IT COULD NOT BE DISCUSSED PUBLICLY. VICE CHAIRMAN LAMAN FELT THERE SHOULD BE A LETTER OF EXPLANATION CONCERNING THE CREDIT REPORT. MOTION BY MR. CHEATHAM, SECONDED BY MR. DERNBACH TO TABLE THIS APPLICATION UNTIL THE MAY MEETING AND ASK MR. PALLO TO APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD. CARRIED. THE BOARD SECRETARY ALSO TOLD THE BOARD THAT SHE HAD RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL FROM THE 8ENTLEMAN WHO HAD SIGNED M~. PALLORS VERIFICATION OF EXPERIENCE FORM - AND THAT HE CLAIMED THAT MR. PALLO HAD NEVER BEEN A SUPERVISOR A8 STATED FOR HIS COMPANY AND THAT HE HAD REFUSED TO HAVE HIS SIGNATURE NOTARIZED BECAUSE OF THIS. IT WAS NOTED THAT HIS SIGNATURE WAS NOTARIZED, APPARENTLY "AFTER THE FACT". PAGE 5 PALLOr KENNETH M/ IRRIGATION cont MR. COOPER NOTED THAT MR. MONEYHAN WAS ASKING THE BOARD TO SIT AS THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS UNDER THE ELECTRICAL CODE. MR. MONEYHAN EXPLAINED TO THE BOARD THAT HE HAD WIRED A ? UNIT BUILDING ON LOUISISANA AVE. USING ENT TYPE MATERIAL INSTEAD OF RIGID-METAL CONDUIT SURFACE METAL RACEWAYS OR ELECTRICAL-METALLIC TUBING AS REQUIRED BY THE CITY CODE AND THAT HE WAS ASKING THE BOARD TO APPROVE THE USE OF ENT IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN. IT WAS NOTED THAT THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE APPROVED ENT. A LENGTHY DISCUSSION FOLLOWED. MR. COOPER SUGGESTED THAT MR. BONACCI AND MR, NEUBERGER GO OVER THE AMENDMENTS AND MAKE RECOMMENDATION8 TO THE BOARD AT THEIR MAY MEETING. MOTION BY MR. CHEATHAM, SECONDED BY MR. NEUBERGER TO 8RANT THE APPEAL BARED ON THE BOARDS AGREEMENT TO THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE WHICH ALLOWS ENT. CARRIED. SCORES WERE REGISTERED IN THE SCOREBOOK BY MR. DERNBACH AND MR. NEUBERGER. THERE BEING NO FURTHER DISCUSSION, MEETING ADJOURNED AT 9:20 P.M,
