MR. WHITE AND MR. NICHOLSON WERE SWORN IN BY'CHAIRMAN LAM'AN"~
MR. NICHOLSON GAVE A RUNDOWN OF THE CASE.
MR. WHITE SPOKE TO THE BOARD.
HE TESTIFIED THAT MR. FRED BARK HAD BEEN EMPLOYED BY
ABOUT 15 YEARS AS A HANGER AND FINISHER AND THAT HE WASiTHE
SUPERVISOR. HE ALSO SAID THAT BECAUSE OF THiS CASE THAT MR.
BARK NO LONGER WORKS FOR HIM.
BOARD MEMBER, MR. HANEY ARRIVED AT THE MEETING AT 8:15 P,M.
MR. FRED BARK WAS SWORN IN BY.CHAIRMAN LAMAN TO TESTIFY iN
REGARDS TO PAT WHITE'S CASE.
IT WAS NOTED THAT MR. BARK WAS THE ONE WHO HIRED ALL OF THE
SUBS FOR WHITE DRYWALL.
MOTION BY MR. CAPP, SECONDED BY MR. HANEY THAT WE SUBPOENA
THE WHITE DRYWALL ACCOUNT FOR THE LAST QUARTER OF 19927~THE
FIRST QUARTER OF 1993 - WE'D LIKE TO SEE THE PAYROLL RECORDS,
THE BANK STATEMENT, W-4'S, 1099'S, UNEMPLOYMENT RECORDS'. UTT6
AND WORKERS COMPENSATION.
DURING DISCUSSION IT WAS NOTED THAT THE BANK STATEMENT WOULD
BE FROM BARNETT BANK, ACCOUNT

THIS INFORMATION WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE BOARD AT THEIR NEXT

CHAIRMAN LAMAN ASKED MR. BARK HOW HE WANTED TO PLEAD ON ALL
THREE CHARGES.
MR. BARK SAID HE WANTED TO GET IT OVER WITH SO HE PLEADED
GUILTY.

TWO BOARD MEMBERS REQUESTING MR. DERNBACH'S RESIGNATION FROM
THE CONSTRUCTION BOARD.
MR. JERRY SMITH NOTED THAT THE BOARD REPRESENTS THE
CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN AND AS
BUSINESSMEN, WE SHOULD HANDLE OURSELVES IN A BUSINESS .LIKE
MANNER.

DURING DISCUSSION, THE BOARD FELT THEY WOULD RATHER HAVE
DENNIS RESIGN ON HIS OWN RATHER THAN BE REMOVED BY THE CiTY
COUNCIL.
MOTION BY MR. MOSBY, SECONDED BY MR.. NEUBERGER THAT THE BOARD
SECRETARY WRITE A LETTER TO BE SIGNED BY CHAIRMAN LAMAN TO
REQUEST THE RESIGNATION OF DENNIS DERNBACH BASED ON THE TWO
LETTERS RECEIVED BY THE BOARD FROM JERRY SMITH TILE, INC. AND
SEBASTIAN HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING, INC..
MOTION CARRIED..
DISCUSSION: INSTALLATION OF METAL STUDS
MOTION BY MR. JERRY SMITH, SECONDED BY MRS. ENLOW TO POSTPONE
THE DISCUSSION OF THE INSTALLATION OF METAL STUDS UNTIL NEXT'
MEETING WHEN MR. COOPER WILL BE PRES.ENT AND ENLIGHTEN US A
LITTLE MORE IN THE AREA.
