OLD BUSINESS: l) 2) WORKSHOP MEETINGS ROUGH DRAFT FOR THE PREPARING OF AN ORDINANCE FOR PROPERLY ANCHORING AND DOING SERVICE CONNECTIONS. DISCUSSION - ELECTRICAL CODE - CONTINUED FROM MEETING OF 5/22/85 CHAIRMAN' $ MATTERS: ATTORNEY'S MATTERS: NEW BUSINESS: 15 MINUTES TO PUBLIC ADJOURN Deborah C. Krage$ City Clerk NOTE: IF ANY PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE ON THE ABOVE MATTERS, HE/SHE WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND FOR SUCH PURPOSES, HE,SHE WILL NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBAtIM'RECORD. OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY IN EVIDENCE ON WHICH THE APPEAL IS MADE. SEBASTIAN CONSTRUCTION BOARDWORKSHOP MEETING - MAY 30! 1985 MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY CHAIRMAN HARRIS AT 7:35 P.M. PRESENT ABSENT: MR. BALLOUGH, MR, RIZIO, MR. TRIPP, VICE CHAIRMAN CAREY, MR. MOLER, MR, PALMER, MR. HOFFMAN, CHAIRMAN HARRIS. MR. DOMINIX, EXCUSED. MOTION BY VICE CHAIRMAN CAREY, SECONDED BY MR. TRIPB TO APPROVE THE MINUTES AS CORRECTED. CARRIED.. MINUTES OF MAY 7, 1985, RAGE 4; 8TH SENTENCE: CHANGE "WORK TO WORD" ROUGH DRAFT FOR THE PREPARING OF AN ORDINANCE FOR PROPERLY ANCHORING AND DOING SERVICE CONNECTIONS: CHAIRMAN HARRIS STATED THAT HE WANTED THE BOARD TO TRY TO PREPARE A ROUGH DRAFT CREATING AN ORDINANCE FOR FOOTERS AND FOUNDATIONS AND ANCHORING, ETC. ON MANUFACTURED HOMES AS WELL AS CONVENTIONAL HOMES. HE NOTED THAT THE BOARD COULD NOT CREATE ANY KIND OF ORDINANCE FOR MANUFACTURED 8UILDINGS ALONE, THAT IT MUST BE FOR CONVENTIONAL HOMES AS WELL. AFTER A LENGTHY DISCUSSION, MR. BALLOUGH VOLUNTEERED TO DO MORE RESEARCH AND WRITE A ROUGH DRAFT TO BRING BACK TO THE BOARD FOR FURTHER DISCUSSION. CHAIRMAN HARRIS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL IN THE FORM OF A LETTER THAT THE BOARD ~S IN THE?PROCESS OF~'CREATING. AiROUGH~-DRAFT THAT WE WILL PRESENT TO THEM IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE BOARD VOTED UNANIMOUSLY TO INFORM THE COUNCIL, BUILDING OFFICIAL AND OTHER AGENCIES IN THE FORM OF A LETTER AS TO WHAT WE ARE PLANNING TO DO AND A PROJECTED DATE WHEN IT WILL BE COMPLETED. (WITHIN THE NEXT 30 DAYS) A LETTER FROM ATTORNEY PALMER WAS READ INTO THE MINUTES BY MR. BALLOUGH. MR. -TRIPP SUGGES.TED BECAUSE OF THE'.'LATENESS OF THE'MEETING I~HAT~ FURTHER.DISCUSSION ON THE ELECTRICAL CODE BE S(LKTPCNE29 UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING. MOTION BY MR. TRIPP , SECONDED BY MR. MOLER TO ADJOURN MEETING CARRIED. MEETING ADJOURNED AT 9:15 P.M.
