HE EXPLAINED THAT HE TOOK THE FORM TO MR. ANDREWs KO SIGNED IT AND THEN HAD HIS SECRETARY NOTARIZE IT. !l/liEN LOOKING AT THE FORM~ IT LOOKS AS THOUGH MR. BUSHONG~S SIGNATURE WAS THE NAME BEING NOTARIZED. MOTION BY MR. MOSBY~ SECONDED BY MR. T. SMITH THAT I~E APPROVE MR. DALE BUSHONG TO TAKE THE BLOCK EXAM CONTINGENT UPON PROPER LEGAL DOCUMENTATION FOR THE VERIFICATION OF EXPERIENCE. MQTION CARRIED. RAFFERTY~ JOHN J./PAINTiNG MR. TOZZOLO NOTED THAT THE VERIFICATION OF EXPERIENCE SHOWED MR. RAFFERTY HAVING ONLY AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND. MR. RAFFERTY TOLD THE BOARD THAT iN MARYLAND~ THE TEST HE TOOK HAD TO BETAKEN IN ORDER TO DO PAINTING. MOTION BY MR. MOSBY TO APPROVE TO TAKE THE TEST BASED ON THE MARYLAND INFORMATION PROVIDED. MOTION DIES FROM LACK OF SECOND. MOTION BY MR. J. SMITH~ SECONDED BY MR. TOZZOLO THAT WE APPROVE MR. RAFFERTY TO TAKE THE BLOCK EXAM FOR A PAINTING CONTRACTOR WHEN HE FURNISHES DOCUMENTATIONTHAT HE HAS HAD 2 YEARS IN THE TRADE~ ONE YEAR AS A SUPERVISOR PRESENTED TO KATHY AND SIGNED BY A BOARD MEMBER, MOTION CARRIED. VICE CHAIRMAN NEUBERGER EXPLAINED THAT IN THE PAST THAT CREDIT REPORTS WERE CONSIDERED IF THEY WERE BUSINESS RELATED. NORMALLY IF IT WAS PERSONAL~ IT HAD NO BEARING ON THB CASE. MOTION BY MR. TOZZOLO, SECONDED BY MR. MOSBY THAT WE APPROVE MR. MATTES TO TAKE THE BLOCK EXAM. MOTION CARRIED. VIOLATION HEARING~ KEITH KELLEY/FLORIDA DRYWALL 1171 BARBER STREET MR. KELLEY WAS NOT PRESENT AT THE MEETING. VICE CHAIRMAN NEUBERGER SWORE IN LEA SMITH WHO GAVE A RUN DOV/N OF THE CASE. GRACE CORMIER/SUNSHINE QUALITY CONSTRUCTION 1171 BARBER STREET FRANK CORMIER~ REPRESENTING SUNSHINE QUALITY CONSTRUCTION WAS SWORN IN BY VICE CHAIRMAN NEUBERGER. MR. CORMIER TESTIFIED THAT WHEN FLORIDA DRYWALL WAS HIRBD~ THEY WERE TOLD NOT TO START UNTIL THEY GOT LICENSED iN THE CITY. HE SAID THAT HE WAS IN BREVARD COUNTY WORKING ON THE BEACH SIDE WHEN HE FOUND OUT THAT THEY WBRE ON THE JOB WITHOUT BEING LICENSED. ROGER MCCORMICK FINISHED THE JOB. KEITH KELLEY~ FLORIDA DRYWALL CAME IN LATE AND WAS SWORN IN BY VICE CHAIRMAN NEUBERGER. MR. KELLEY EXPLAINED THAT HIS PARTNER STARTED THE JOB BUT THAT THEY VACATED THE JOB AS SOON AS THE TALKED TO LEA. TOZZOLO NOTED THAT THEY KNEW THEY HAD TO HAVE A LICENSE TO WORK IN THE CITY SO WHY ARE THEY BEING FOUND NOT GUILTY OF WILLFUL DISREGARD OF THE BUILDING CODES? IT WAS NOTED THAT SEPTIC TANKS AND WELL DRILLING WERE LICENSED BY THE STATE AND THAT WE DO NOT.DO THE TESTING. THE BOARD SECRETARY SAID THAT SHE WOULD BRING A LIST OF LICENSED TRADES IN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN TO THE NEXT MEETING. MR. MICHAEL HERBIG WAS WELCOMBD BY THE BOARD AS THE NEW BOARD MEMBER.
