We will send to the ABC Mfg. in Raleigh, Mississippi for a seal as soon as possible. In the Palm Beach County application form we received, we will adopt this as the format for ~=r application. We will change the bond amou~ to $1,000 as the amount in the Palm Beach County calls for a $2,000 bond. Ail places where the name of Palm Beach County is mentioned will be replaced with the name of Sebastian. Before Grace ma~es these changes, Ed Schmucker will read over th~s application and 1Bt Grace know it's okay to start typing. In our Ordinance, page 10, #3, a fee of $10.00 will be paid to keep a license on an inactive basis. In order to become active again, you must submit an application to the Board and an a~ditional fee of $15.00 and proof of insurance. Jim Harris did contact Clinton Hale to be the plumber contractor on this Board. He did say he would like to serve. This will be brought up and recommended to the City Council at the next Council meeting. Also, Gregg Palmer will be recommended to be the heating and ventilation contractor. A matter of meeting in the evening, instead of during the day, was b~ought up. It will be no problem for the meetings to be held on Thursday evenings, except that they will have to be held at the Yacht Club or the Community Center as the City Hall is used on ThuKsday evenings for a Planning & Zoning meeting. In regard to the licenses, a copy was sketched and approved by the members of the Board and will be sent to the printer as soon as possible. We need to adopt a code as to who was grand~athered a license or who took the test to receive a license. This code will be typed on the license upon its issuance. Ed schmucker said that he will call Buck Vocelle, Attorney, as to who will be authorized to sign the licenses when issued. If this authority 'is for ,the chairman to sign them, then will the vice-chairman be able to sign in the event the chairman is not able. ~"?n A question was brought up as to whether the State Certification will super- cede the local certification and Art said that that was up to the Board. A man who has only a State Registration will need to take the c~mpetency · test and then he will be issued a local certificate. Being registered with the State means no test was required, just a filing fee. A person who is State Certified has taken the State test and passed it. This person will need a local license, but will not have to take the local competency test. Next meeting on Tuesday, June~27, 1978 at 1:45 p.m.
