In going over the list: of specialty contractors, no mention of' licensing
carpenter sub-contractors is given. ~e do haVe them in the awes being
a~vertised as such. A phone call was mede to E. 1~. Flynn,.' .Blt'crcr of
the Construction Industry Licensing Boa,.in 'West-PaL Beech 'e~d they
said that. they do not., lt.cense .,C.arpenter :...sUb-contractors-'~ If ,~hey are
licensed, they are under the category of-a contractor. ~e will add
"Carpenter Sub-Contractors" to.our list of specialty contrac2or$,
The matter of a budget was broUght up. The BOard will need to s~ea£t
a budget for .the next cc~ing £iscal ye~ (October 1, 1978)..,We, drew
up a list and,.Grace will .send this ~o Terry. ~Zerner', Fleld/Inve-~tiqator
of the FlOrida ConstruciuLmn Industry 'Licensing Board in Nest Palm 'Beach

Chris Kirzie had a suggestion that the first year of this licenst.~ be
mede as a probationary period. E~ Sc~emcke~ pointed Out to Chris 'that
if, for .any reason, a person does not la, et the ~tandards o£.~.bei'ng
licensed, the Board mey revoke or susper~ that man's license until
he. does make good any Job that was performed unsatisfactorily.
