Home My WebLink About22-139 - City of Sebastian Piggyback AgreementCITY OF SfBAS-rI�N HOME OF PELICAN ISLAND PIGGYBACK AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN AND PRECISION ASIDEWALK SAFETY THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into the 19th day of November . 2025 by and between the City of Sebastian, Florida, whose address is 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, FL 32958, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, hereinafter referred to as the "City" and Precision Sidewalk Safety Corp (FEIN: 20-5234927), whose principal and local address is 8101 SW 96th Terrace Rd, Ocala, FL 34481 hereinafter referred to as the "Vendor". The City and the Contractor are collectively referred to herein as the "Parties." WHEREAS, the Washington County Florida School District has previously entered into a contract with Vendor to provide Trip Hazard Mitigation for Sidewalks on September 13, 2021 (attached as Exhibit A hereto); and WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian wishes to enter into a like contract with Vendor under the same terms and applicable conditions as that prior agreement entered into by the Washington County Florida School District to provide Trip Hazard Mitigation for Sidewalks and other related tasks as may be assigned by the City; and WHEREAS, Chapter 287, Florida Statutes and purchasing procedures of the City of Sebastian grant the authority to piggyback the purchase of goods and services as a form inter- governmental cooperative purchasing in which a public purchaser requests competitive sealed bids, enters into a contract, and arranges, as part of the contract, for other public purchasing units to purchase from the selected vendor under the same terms and conditions as itself in order to take advantage of the better pricing that large purchasers are able to obtain in order to reduce administrative time and costs involved in the procurement process (i.e., cost of preparing bid specifications, advertising, etc.); and WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian has determined that in this circumstance, piggybacking onto a contract entered into by the Washington County Florida School District is the most economically advantageous way to procure these goods and services. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, terms, and provisions contained herein, the parties agree as follows: 1. TERM The initial term of the agreement expired on September 14, 2025. The agreement was renewed for an additional one (1) year period expiring on September 14, 2026. This Agreement may be renewed if the Washington County Florida School District exercises renewal or extension options. 2.
