AUGUST 10, 1999
Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

I'd like to make a motion that we approve the regular minutes of the Sebastian
Construction Board for July 13r", 1999.
A voice vote was taken. 7 - 0, motion carded.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
EXPERiOR EXAM: BIRKO, JOSEPH A. I Master Electrician
Mr. Joseph A. Birko, 1799 Hazelton Street, Palm Bay, FL, was present and was sworn in
by the Chairman at 7:02 p.m.
Mr. AIIocco inquired about the credit report and supervisor letter.
Mr. Birko responded that since he is not applying as a contractor, he was told these two
items were not needed. He indicated that the Master Electrician status is for a
promotion in his job at Kennedy Space Center.
There was some discussion among Board members.

Roll call:
I'd like to make a motion that Joseph A. Birko be eligible to take the Expedor
Exam for Master Electrical.

The vote was 7-0. Motion carried.

Acceptance of change on application - Page 4.
The following sentence was added to page 4 of the application:
Also attach a letter showing applicant's supervisory status.
Chairman Smith noted that in the past there have been questions on the experience of
some applicants, and this sentence is intended to help clarify the issue.
MOTION by Cecrle/Herbig
I'd like to make a motion that we accept this as the new page 4, with the
correction of spelling.
A voice vote was taken, 7 - 0 motion carried.
