BOWMAN, JOHN H./STRUCTURAL STEEL Mr. Bowman was not pre~t, and this application wa~ put off till later in the meeting. 3. COFFEY, BRIAN K/CARPENTRY Mr. Brian Coff~y, 8515 95~ Ave, Vero B0ach, Florida, was preseat and was sworn in at 7:06 pm. Questions from Board lr~mhers w~re answered satisfactorily. MOTION by Holdridg~/Cecrle I'd like to make a motion that Bri~l Keith Coffgy bc cligiblc to take his Block Exam for Carpentry. Roll call: VC Thomas Cecrle - yes Michael Holdridge - yes Michael Herbig - yes Chmn. Smith - yes John F. Heame, Sr (a) - yes The vote was 5 - 0. Motion carried. 4. NEWMAN, JOHN D.ITILE & MARBLE John Newman, 701 Lake Drive, Sebastian, was present and was sworn in at 7:08 pm. At this point, Chnm. Smith stated that he knowa: John Nmvman, he is not a qualifior for any of John's oxperieace, and John has done some jobs for him, and he feels that ho can vote upon this without any bias. Mr. Newman's credit probl~ns were touched on briefly. 'MOTION by Holdridge/Hearne i'd lik~ to make a motion that John Douglas Newman be eligible to take his Block Exam for Tile and Marble. BU!LI} [NG QH I, ClAL MATTKRS: Mr. Bonacci gavo information on now d~welopmeats and projects that are being started in Sebastian, namely Collier Club and Sebastian Lakes. I-Ie answered various que~ion~ by CONSTRUCTION BOARD MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF AUGUST 11, 1998 Board members. There was some discussion about th~ extension of Barber Street, which is being done by the State and the County. At this point, Mr. John Bowman had amved. 2. BOWMAN, JOHN H./STRUCTURAL STEEL Mr. John Bownum, 1570 Garden Avenue, Holly Hill, Florida was present and was sworn in at 7:17 pm. MOTION by Ce~rleA-terbig I'd liko to make a motion that John H. Bowman be approved to take the Block Exam for Structural Steel. Michael Holdridge - yes VC Thomas Cecrle - yes Chnm. Jerald Smith - yes Michael Hcrbig - yes John Heame, Sr. - yes The.vote was 5 - 0. Motion carried. Mr. Holdridge asked if he would be required to take the Business ~ Law portion of tho testing to obtain another license for local work. The general opinion of Mr. Bonaoci and the ~ Board members was that he probably will not have to take it. It was also suggested that Mr. Holdridse check with the State.
