Smith, and he submiUed a Form 8B, aUached4 Mr. Cardoza, 245S. Broadway, Fellsmore, FL was present. VC Mosby took over the meeting at 7:06 P.M. and the applicant was sworn m. MOTION by HeamedCecrle I make a motion that Rubea can take the test, as required. Smith returned to the dais at 7:09 P.M. 3. BOBBY NICK MORAN - CARPENTRY Bobby Moran, 3605 - 3rd Street, Vero Beach, was preseat and was sworn in by Chum. Smith, Several questions were asked by the Board members to establish clarification on supervisorywork MOTION by Mosby/Cecrle I make a recommendation that we appro~te Mr. Moran to take the Block Exam. CONSTRUCTION BOARD MINUTES OF REO~ MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 9, 1997 4. FRANK VANDER WIEDE - BURGLAR ALARM Mr. Frank Vander Wiede, 148 Capri Avenue, Sebastian, was present and was swoTM in by Chnm. Smith. MOTION by Mosby/Cecrle I make a rccon'an~ation that we approve Mr. Vandor Wiedo for approval to take the Block Exam. VC Randy Mosby - yes Chnm. Smith - yes Michael Hcrbig - yes lohn Heame, Sr.(a) - yes Pierre Paquettz(a) - yes Thomas Cccrle - yes The vote was 6 - O. Motion carrie. VIOLATION HEARINGS: None BIJ][LDING OFFICIAL MA~ERS: Mr. Bonacci read from th~ letter and Ordinance that wcr~ included in tonight's packet and referred to termite sh/elds and stucco stops. There was discussion on this issue about types of shield, how and where to place it, and at what point, during construction, it would be inspected. It was determined that it would be inspected at the time of framing inspection, MATTERS: RECOMMENDATION OF BOARD MEMBERS: 1. William Doyle 2. Johns F. Heame,. Sr. (Reappointment) 3. Thomas R. Cecrle (Reappo~) 4. Michel F. Herbig (Resppointment) Mr. Doyle, 1 I0 Landovor' Drive, S~basfian, was present and was intexviowed by tho Board moml~rs. At this point, the Board members discussed at length the issue of new applicants and e~isting members who are up for re-appointmeat, being recommended into the professional member slots that are more appropria~ for their professions. Several motions were started and rescinded until thc Board discussed the issue and.made final recommcnd~ons. CONSTRUCTiON BOARD MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 9, 1997 MOTION by Mosby/Cecile I recommend that John Heame~ Sr. replace my position as the r~rese~ve, a~ the Engineer for the Construction Licensing Board. MOTION by Mosby/Heame I rocommond that Tom Cecrle be reappointed to Regular Member. Discussion: Mr. Ceorle oomnamt~ that he feels tho position of Land Surveyor should bO~included somewhere with the Engineers, Plumbers and so forth, as a position of the Board.
