There was disCusSion on this issue. There was also discussion on his Company name. VIOLATION HEARINGS: None BUILDING, OFFICI.~ MATTERS: None BOARD MATTERS: Kathy inquired about the Board's opinion of a letter of reciprocity for an applicant who took the test in 1995 and wishes to work in St, Lucie County, A passing grade was not obtained so he was not given an active comp card in Sebastian. In 1996 a resolution was passed requiring that a person must hold an active comp card in order to request a letter of reciprocity be done. The scores obtained by the applicant are passing for St. Luice County. Since we did not require an active card in 1995, she requested the applicant be "grandfathered" in so that a letter can be sent. There was discussion on this issue and the following motion was made, MOTION by Fox/Taylor(a) I'd like to make a motion that after this discussion that the Board members have had regarding this situation, that we make a motion to 'grandfather' in Harley Blaha for a letter of reciprocity for St. Lucie County. Kathy then noted that Leonard Galbraith is automatically off the Board as he missed three unexcused meetings, and as a formality, the issue will go before City Council tomorrow night and they will be sending him letter informing him of this determination. Chmn. Cecrle stated for the record that the Board is deeply saddened that Leonard did not fulfill his requirements as far as attendance because they really like him and wished that he would have made it to the Chairman position. Kathy noted that Tom Cecrle and Michael Herbig have agreed to remain in their positions until new members can replace them.
