All members present except for Clint Hale.
Motion by Huston Tripp, seconded by Merle Hasson, that we accept the
minutes of August 16, 1978. All in favor, none opposed.
Ed Paluch made a motion that all grandfathered people pay a fee of $25
instead of the $50%~ee~ori~i~a~l¥ S~t. He fel~.that this is actually a
renewal of a license and it be treated as such. ~hris Kirtle seconded
the motion. All in favor, none opposed.
Another item of discussion was that, if a member on the Board could
verify a person's constructi°n experience that would be sufficient
evidence and that person's application would be accepted. This would
only govern the people who arebeing grandfathered. If, in.~.the past,
a permit wasn't required and, he was legally operating in town and
doing a good job, then he wasn't doing anything wrong and his appli-
cation will be accepted.
It was then decided to set up a revised schedule of fees:
Initial application with a test
Application fee with no testing
Application fee, under the
Grandfather Law
Annual renewal fee
Inactive license fee

The applications by the Board. Before we
got into any disc~sions, Ed Paluch suggested that the Board present to
Pat Flood, Jr. the ~trCertificate. All the members were in favor and,
October ~ 1978 (the next City Council 'Meeting) Ed Schmucker will pre-
sent this Certificate to Pat.
The next meeting will be on Monday evening, 7'p~.m. at City Hall on
October 2, 1978.
